Sure, I was trying to pull a giant canyon out of dream and make it appear in front of them suddenly to make it look like their escape had been cut off. Might have been a hard sell, I know, but it's the tool he's got at the moment.

What I don't understand is the source of that power so that I can adjudicate the effect. I don't see it in the character sheet or in the XP thread. Ahh, it's the Awakens Dreams ability Dreamcraft, got it. "Shaka, his eyes open."

The three mercenaries slid to a halt at the edge of the sudden chasm. They turn face backwards, and begin to crab sideways as if to go around it.

The Queen shakes her head. "It is treason to attack your Queen," She calls. "Return to the Queendom only at your peril." She calls to Huval. "See their names marked for the roster." She enters the cave nonchalantly, disappearing into the gloom.

"There. More down in tunnel." She points to numerous tracks, more than the number of people that were encountered. She then readies her lance and bolts off into the cave following the tracks.

OOC:

Not sure anyone can keep up with her but she will go until she spots signs of a camp or light. She wont engage wirh anyone until the party catches up.

Duke takes a moment and slaps the dragged man to talking consciousness if needed.

"Look you ain't leading a great life made some bad choices, how many of yall are down here and is there one of them doghead people down here with yall? Cause someone might be trying to blow up this here area with a falling star and I want to go in prepared." Duke asks the guy dropping some pretty heavy accusations on him for levity.

Domic and Huval race after the Queen and Katyushka into the tunnels, along with Vinny.

Duke intimidates the prisoner. Want to make a roll for your convincingness?

Katyushka easily catches up with the tired Queen. She is looking down at a natural chimney. "I can't tell if they went down here. You're not a tracker, by any chance?"

Micah seems conflicted. Seth is left back to handle the tempermental Talbuks.

Micah is breathing hard as he tries to keep up with Vinny and follows the queen and Katyu. As he follows Vinny, he breathlessly asks his companion, "How far ahead do you think they are?"

Katyushka see signs, scuff marks and scrapes, that a number of people descended the chimney without equipment, probably hands on one side, legs on the other. (Too small for dragons.)

Duke questions the injured mercenary, and determines that four senior members of their Company went down, along with the crazy lady that joined them recently.

Duke stares at the man his eyes the only thing revealed behind his petrified Oak mask and he nods.

"Look you've made some bad life choices, that's happened. But there's something outside that ain't that kind that will descend and possibly pluck you up like a piece of fruit and eat you in a bite or two. Rest here and think of your life for the future and try and make better decisions if you survive when you leave. Plan to make some change or you're gonna end up dead right quick Bubba. Thanks for the heads up." Duke explains patting the guy's shoulder and shifting him to a sitting position before moving to the others.

"Four senior hombres or I guess competent members went down and supposedly a 'Crazy Lady' joined them recently went down as well, unsure if they mean blunt, bold, or just ain't putting up with their male egos. But there's five down there with a head start so we doing this or what?" Duke breifs to the others and looks down trying to figure out the best way to navigate this.

"Of course we are. Why avoid the fun." Katyu climbs down the side placing her hands and feet on one side and her back on the other(like the Matrix in the bathroom scene). Going down a few feet she stops and looks up. "You all joining me?" Without waiting for an answer she continues down the chimney.
