Ven fires another volley of arrows at the goblins.
OOC:
Remembered the multiple attack penalty this time!

OOC:
Holy moley, 2 crits! Those are x2 damage each. Unsure if "flat footed" applies...I don't think she's in flanking position, but let me know if I should roll sneak attack.

OOC:
First, that is some mighty impressive rolling. Second, the goblins wouldn't really be flat-footed anymore. What I will ask is that you give a description your attack. Make it bad ass. These rolls deserve it!

Ven draws her bowstring to her ear and releases three arrows in quick succession. The first stirs Janhur's beard as it slides past, into the eye of his opponent. The second sinks to its feathers in the armpit of another, piercing his back in a spray of blood. The third, about to target a goblin with greasy hair and eyes that point in random directions, is deflected inadvertently as Janhur changes position and skips harmlessly off the edge of his gauntlet. Ven curses at the ill luck, but reaches back to her quiver to continue the onslaught.

OOC:
Well done! I'm going to assume the arrows are being aimed at singualr targets untilthey're dead.
A goblin falls to the floor in the wake of Ven's barrage, and the remaining ones seem hostile, but less motivated for the fight.

Rolls

Attack - (1d20)

(5) = 5

Oct 18, 2018 9:27 am
OOC:
You bet.
Oct 19, 2018 2:23 am
A second goblin swings, as soon as the first one misses, but neither seems particulary keen on continung the fight. They throw each other a couple of quick, scared glances and mutter something between themselves.
OOC:
Top of of the order.

Rolls

Attack - (1d20+6)

(7) + 6 = 13

Oct 19, 2018 3:04 am
"Had enough?" Janhur taunts, "Yield. Your blood's not worth dirtying my blade!"

Rolls

Demoralize/Intimidate? - (1d20)

(3) = 3

Oct 20, 2018 1:56 am
They snicker at the obvious attempt to scare them, and brace themselves for the assault.
Oct 20, 2018 2:36 am
OOC:
Does the pathetic intimidation attempt take up my turn, or do I still get to strike?
Oct 21, 2018 3:14 am
OOC:
I believe you still get to strike, unless I'm mistaken.
Oct 21, 2018 4:02 pm
"Think that's funny, huh? Try laughing at this!"
OOC:
Now THAT'S funny!

OOC:
I've been a bit distracted with real-life stuff.
The goblins openy laugh at Janhur's attack until the volley of arrows pets them , and they drop. Both of them hit the ground at the same time, perhaps too arrogant in that moment to even realize what hit them.
OOC:
I think it would be worth going over the rules for XP. It looks like this is one of the biggest changes in the new edition. Now if I understand correctly, acquiring XP is based on overcoming challenges which are DC based, i.e. combat. In the Playtest Bestiary, it looks like there's a note that the Gobiln Warrior is in the Bestiary, which I assume to mean the original 1st edition Bestiary. Thoughts?
