Mulrick is about halfway to his bed when he stops in his tracks completely, frozen by your words. ever so slowly he turns around, fidgeting with his fingers incessantly. "Ah, well...maybe?" You see his eyes quickly look at Flitter who stands quietly in the corner, returning his uncertain look with what would best be described as "angry eyes"; thankfully Flitter attempts no further action.
"Not me, it-t was Jakor, honest. "Ah-buh-lisk" he called it."

Flipping through the pages you read a small passage.
"But if this is a dream, why can't I wake up?" Willow examines the vast nothingness which surrounds her, save the single tree and the odd fox who has decided to pester her once again.
"Hmm, why indeed? Perhaps you have been sleeping the whole time, and have finally waken up, hehehe!" The fox laughed and jumped playfully, gliding through the air as if he were swimming.
"Everyone comes here for a reason, you just haven't found it yet!" The fox suddenly snarls, baring viscous fangs as he leaps at Willow! But instead of the sharp feeling of pain, the fox disappears into a cloud of sparks upon impact, the sound of his laughter filling the air...
