P.R.O.W.L. was forced to revert to its humanoid configuration when the draconic thing's tail smashed into its wolf mode. While in the midst of reorganizing its anatomy, the robot retaliates with an energized stun baton strike.

Just like Jericho, Cole didn't want to let the hobgoblin get eaten. How to get out of this situation?

The draconian's eyes go wide as it tries to process Cole's command. It seems to have worked, as the beast very slowly scans the room, letting out a hiss and directing their gaze back towards the hallway you entered from.
Rodrigo can let the draconian go first should he wish, I can't really see why not, but maybe you do.
