OOC:
Entangle's AoE is a 20-ft square, not a cone. So I'm thinking AoE corners at C5, F5, C8, and F8. I don't mind including myself in the AoE because I'm about to wildshape and it won't matter to the shape I'm taking.

OOC:
Tremor is at H2.

Initiative.

Rolls

Initiative - (1D20+3)

(14) + 3 = 17

Sep 10, 2018 10:12 am
OOC:
On my way to work, so since I rolled a high initiative, I'll post Tremor's action now and you can fit it in when appropriate. I don't want to hold things up.
Tremor watches the interaction closely. His heart begins to race as he realizes Jericho is unlikely to talk the team out of this and confrontation is becoming unavoidable. He begins a low muttering and his fingers start to dance. Youre under arrest! The goblins are obviously not having any of that...a fight is certain....Now!

With a low, almost demonic voice, Tremor shouts a single arcane syllable, extends his hands toward the goblins, and unleashes a blue arc of power directly at their opponents.
OOC:
Eldritch Blast at G3

Rolls

Attack - (1d20+7)

(14) + 7 = 21

Damage - (1d10+5)

(7) + 5 = 12

OOC:
What kind of armor are the goblins wearing?
Sep 11, 2018 3:22 am
OOC:
Chain shirts, also a minor note is the dining area is only DIM lighting. Gonna roll for Mushroom because they've been absent.
Vines engulf the three goblins, causing them to look at the party with a mixture of surprise and fear. "Kill them!" Screams Grug, fury in his voice. Meanwhile a poor goblin tries to shield Tremor's blast with his hands, only to feel a stinging pain which causes them to kneel in pain.
OOC:
Initiative
Naji (22)
Tremor (17)
Goblins (17)
Grug (13)
Rodrigo (9)
Jericho (4)
Prowl (3)

Damage sustained
G1
G2
G3 - 12, visibly injured
G4
Grug

With pbp most groups let whatever PC's are available/online fill an initiative slot when they can, Tremor acted so one more PC can take a turn before the goblins (I let PC's win initiative ties), then everyone can go again.

Rolls

Naji Initiative - (1d20+2)

(20) + 2 = 22

Sep 11, 2018 5:02 am
OOC:
Am I understanding you correctly? You are allowing one person who happens to be online to take their turn now regardless of what initiative they rolled?
PROWL appears to disintegrate into countless infinitesimal bits when it transforms into a swarm of tiny metallic insects.
[ +- ] Swarm of Metallic Insects (CR 0.5)
Sep 11, 2018 5:44 am
OOC:
Yep, if everyone wants to use normal initiative that is also fine.
Goblins 1 & 2 frantically struggle to free themselves, ripping and cutting at the vines.

Grug swings his sword frantically at Jericho, infuriated beyond words. Cutting over Jericho's head he quickly swings it back around, making a resounding CLANK!

Goblin 3 makes a beeline for Tremor, yelling a battle cry as he barely misses him, instead hitting the air.

Goblin 4 hurls a makeshift javelin made of a metal pole attached to some sharp looking glass at Rodrigo. Maybe it was his nerves, or the scary looking human, either way he completely misses as the "javelin" crashes into the wall.
OOC:

11 damage Jericho

Goblin 1 & 2 are free (14 DC correct?)

@Jabes Why is restrained way better then I remember. Also wow Grug is a trooper.

OOC:
Unless I'm mistaken, Grug failed his STR save vs. Entangle and is now Restrained, and should have Disadvantage on his attack rolls.

Yes, the escape DC is 14.

Rodrigo bursts into action. In the blink of an eye his katana and stun baton are in his hands*. He thrusts the baton into the nearest goblin's belly, followed by two lightning-fast kicks to the head. (Flurry of Blows)**
OOC:
*I don't have the Dual Wielder feat and can't actually draw two weapons at once. That is just for flavor and I am only going to use the baton this round.

**Expending 1 stun charge on G2. IF he is paralyzed, I move to D4 and use my Flurry on Grug.

Rolls

Stun baton vs. G2 - (1d20+6, 1d4+4)

1d20+6 : (4) + 6 = 10

1d4+4 : (3) + 4 = 7

The blade collides heavily with Jericho’s armored head, but he seems largely unmoved save for damage to his hood and his head being tilted to one side. "I think that was a poor move on your part, Grug." He places a hand on the goblin’s chest and blue sparks dance down his arm and into his metal armor.
OOC:
Going with nonlethal just in case.

Rolls

Shocking Grasp (Advantage) - (1d20+6, 1d20+6, 1d8)

1d20+6 : (3) + 6 = 9

1d20+6 : (9) + 6 = 15

1d8 : (4) = 4

Sep 12, 2018 1:33 am
The Goblin blocks Rodrigo's baton swing, creating a flash of light as the weapons connect. "Ha, you foo- Augh!" Both kicks connect.

Grug tries to dodge, only for his limited mobility to guarantee the hit. His body twitches somewhat as the electricity dances through him.
OOC:
Damage sustained
G1
G2 - 13, bloodied nose
G3 - 12, visibly injured
G4
Grug - 4, Slightly disoriented

OOC:
Sorry, whose turn is it again?
Sep 12, 2018 9:55 am
OOC:
Again...in my way to work and don't want to hold things up. So I'll post Tremor's action. Please feel free to fit it in when it's appropriate.
Not having any pupils, it's harder to read shock in Tremor's eyes, but his eyebrows raise and his eyes visibly widen as the goblin charges him. He inwardly registers, with mild surprise and relief, that he isn't running from the creature. With a wry grin, he extends his hand once more and unleashes the arcane hell to which he has access.
OOC:

OOC:
it’s Prowl’s turn. Also, somebox, quick tip for keeping track of initiative is to copypaste the order into a spoiler box and bold who’s next after your turns.
Sep 12, 2018 1:39 pm
Stinging and biting, the robotic insects swarm over Grug, crawling under the goblin leader's clothing, getting into every nook and cranny. (Move into Grug's space, Bite attack)

[ +- ] are you serious?!
Sep 12, 2018 5:35 pm
Grug spots the approaching bugs, stricken with fear. "No, get away!" He flawlessly swats away the swarm before any damage can be done.

Tremor hurls another blast at Goblin 3, this time to no effect as they manage to leap out of the way.
OOC:
Just as I score two 20's, balance must be maintained.

Thanks for the recommendation Cosmickeyring, definitely for the best.

Initativee:
Rodrigo
Jericho
Tremor
Prowl

Naji

Mushroommage has been MIA for a bit now (if this keeps up by the end of the mission I'll probably have to find a replacement), I will NPC them later today. IF anyone feels confident they can NPC Naji themselves or simply take another turn while we assume Naji stays back.
Sep 13, 2018 4:51 am
OOC:
I'll put Naji on F2.
Naji will fire her own surge of energy at Goblin 4, hitting him clear in the chest as he recoils in pain.

Grug will Nimbly Escape from the swarm to B5, swinging at the open air as he flees. "Protect me you coward!" he commands, hiding behind Goblin 1.

Goblin 1, Pressed against such a small enemy tries their hand at cutting up the flies, to zero effect as they easily dance around the cut.

Goblin 2 is not liking their odds, giving one last swing before making a nimble escape of his own, struggling in these strange vines until he reaches E7.

Goblin 3 seems determined to keep attacking Tremor, running circles around him in hopes of finding a weakness. Unfortunately for him all he does is trip over himself, scrambling to stand back up.

Goblin 4 grabs another makeshift javelin, hurling it at Naji's shoulder.
OOC:

Tremor clenches his jaw as his arcane blast misses the diminutive creature. He braces for the little bugger's retort, but luckily it's either inept or thrown off from the wound it took. Either way, Tremor seizes on the chance before him and fires again.
