Prea lunges at Deturai, arms outstretched, as she attempts to knock him over. She shrieks horribly, but not outside the range of a young girl's voice.

Deturai manages to sidestep the girl as well, and she whirls to face him, snarling like an animal. A dark liquid starts bubbling around her mouth...

Prea struggles against the spell, gurgling and spitting up the fluid. She ends up succumbing shortly however, collapsing in a heap on the floor. Apprently her dreams aren't pleasant, because she's twitching and shaking, with the occasional flail.

Nay, I saw her beating her mother, I tried to restrain her but that didnt work. So i put her to sleep. He says a bit sheepishly but kinda of proudly that he put her down.

Isuna puts down the frying pan she's mysteriously clutching, and shakes her head. "It's a kitchen. Look for onions hanging from the ceiling, or apron strings." Isuna helps search the kitchen for twine or rope or any reasonable analog.

Isuna, looking around, locates three aprons complete with four strings each: two hanging near the door, and one on Mellia. She also finds two hanging racks, iron circles suspended by three chains. The shoelaces of everyone in the room shouldn't be ignored. There is also a coil of twine for breads and meats on one of the counters.

Mellia is clearly dead at this point. Drowned, but also battered. Prea wakes from Deturai's enchantment, and starts a high-pitched scream while struggling against her new bonds.

Why would they blame us if were the ones providing aid?! Deturai attempts to hoist prea over his shoulder.
