Thanks for the invite, was planning on playing a light cleric, but also very interested in sorcerer if thats available.

I usually play either rogue (my favourite) or a caster. I might branch out and try something different. Leaning toward fighter (with an eye toward giving samurai a try).

I'm flexible to go with whatever is needed to round out the party. I'm am leaning towards a dwarf ranger or elf rogue, but I would be happy with a dwarf cleric or elf wizard.

between the modules you can change everything up untill you start playing as a lvl 5 charcater.

Alright, I'm gonna go ahead and lock in my choice as a sorcerer. Will update this post later tonight with all the details.

Edit: Gonna do Lightfoot-Halfling Draconic Sorcerer, Point buy for stats and my +1 book will be Xanathers for the extra spells.

If Cave wants to go fighter then I'd be happy to take Paladin. Never played one before. Every single character I make is dex based, so I want to at least try a strength build once.

Lock me in for half-elf Paladin. My +1 book is Xanathar's for the Conquest Oath.

And what Cave said is true. Other than your character name. Any aspect of your character can be adjusted prior to level 5

so i suggest right before we turn 5th lvl we all have a big party of 1 class XD

Any idea what level we’re planning on achieving in this campaign?

My race will definitely be Mountain Dwarf. Still deciding on the class.

Adventure league is a series of modules that follow along near the Hard cover modules. one of the problems with AL is you may not get enough lvls before the "book" advances to the next tier.

AL Advances thru tiers 1-4, 5-10, etc... a tier 1 character cannot play in other tiers. so hopefully we can advance quick enough other wise we might have to branch out into other stories/modules play. Does that make sense Tsavo.

So in theory you can play till as high as you wish, if you recreate/die they start at lvl 1 and then you may or may not have to find others to play within the same tier.

I think I have a lot to learn before I completely understand AL. But I'm loving the vibe of it so far. If I do anything wrong, please be patient. I'll get there.
