Ah right. I'll just take default gear then, thanks. I was hoping to go medium armor but fighter can't have it by default.

with your gear, you can choose which options you want. plus your starting gold. you can sell your gear for half and buy for full. so if theres nothing you want on your starting gear, choose the most expensive option and sell it. maybe that could help you get your build?

Pretty sure I'd have to sell half my inventory just to get a set of scale mail. I'll buy one later.

Take that back, if I sell my Chain mail and Light crossbow, I get 50GP. Guess that means I'll also sell my Bolts for 5SP. Thanks for the help.

yea as we go thru the adventures you'll get TCP= and you can exchange 1 TCP for 50g or other magical items from the "Evergreen" unlocked magic list
Plus when you lvl you get 75g. all other monetary things mentioned through out the modules are null now. so TCP/Leveling/and selling your gear is about the only to get gold with the new rules, :,(

yea kinda so it makes getting "money" a bit harder but a bit easier to get magic items. Before in the "older" rules when you came across a "permanent" magic item it would divvied up between the party and only 1 person would. Now it just 'unlocks' for everyone that played it and you can buy it with the TCP. The cost of which is desgignated by where it appears on the Treasure table in the DMG varying from 8-20 TCP an item.

@Sclasclemski -- My character has been submitted. A few questions:
1. May I take Undercommon as a language choice? I picture my character as living in under the mountains most of his life so far.
2. Am I interpreting the following correctly -- I picked Chainmail for armor, and even my Strength is below 13, I don't have a movement penalty because I am a dwarf.
3. Should I add "[AL]" to my character's reference name?
