This will be a one-shot adventure with first level characters. There will be no leveling and once weâre done, weâre done. As stated in my original post Iâm a relative newbie when in comes to GMing and this whole experience may very well suck, but Iâd like to give it a try and see how it works via PbP.
I will try posting at least once per day. If youâre character is holding up play Iâll wait 48 hours before making a hilariously awesome decision for them that youâll have to live with. Of course, weâve all got real life to deal with, so if youâre going to be gone for a while, just let the rest of us know and weâll work something out.
Thanks for playing!

Youâve been traveling south along the Fairgrave Trail for weeks looking for work with little luck. Your last attempt in Deerhaven ended in disaster as you and your friends were run out of the small town after a slight misunderstanding with the town guard. Hoping for better luck further south (and to put a little distance between yourselves and Deerhaven) youâve traveled through the night and late the next morning approach what appears to be a small farming village.
To the north of the trail lies several buildings, most inviting of which is a tavern called âThe Broken Spoonâ. Famished from the hasty retreat from the night before you pool the last of your coins together and decide to have yourselves a meal before continuing on. Welcome to White Oak.

Creation using 27 point buy or 4d6 per attribute - your choice. If you roll 4d6 please do so in the âCharacter Creationâ forum so the rest of us can either congratulate you on your awesome rolls or make fun of your rotten luck. (We can talk re-rolls if you end up with three or more attributes with negative modifiers).
Standard starting equipment with the exception of coinage. Youâll have just enough to get a meal at âThe Broken Spoonâ and then youâll be broke!
I only have PHB as far as classes, races, and backgrounds go, so if you want to use something else and can point me to a PDF or something Iâm good with it.
