Hi. I am posting this game just to see if I get any realistic takers.
I am willing to DM an epic, amazing game of excitement and intrigue! ... for the right players.
Here's what I'm looking for from players:
1. AVAILABILITY. I have time during the day to check GP pretty regularly, to react and tell a story. In terms of actual numbers, I'm hoping to find players that are realistically WILLING and ABLE to post 2-3 times per day, or more if you want.
2. ROLEPLAYING. There will be action, there will be combat, but--and this is especially true considering the nature of PbF games--I am really hoping for experienced, sophisticated roleplayers that enjoy telling a story and plaing IN-CHARACTER. Note, when I say "sophisticated," I do NOT mean that I want hoity-toity posts and fancy writing. What I AM hoping for is people who understand "roleplaying as improv." (A new/unsophisticated player walks into a town and says "hey DM, is there a tavern here?" An experienced player says "I find the tavern and go there.") (A new/unsophisticated player says "is there anyone in town that can help me?" An experienced player says "I remember that my childhood friend's uncle lives here, and I ask around until I find out where he lives.") There is an understanding that you will take the lead in some situations, and feed the story, and rely on the DM to react.
3. Despite what I said above about not wanting "fancy writing," I do still hope for & expect a reasonable level of articulation. Do you know the difference between "there," "their," & "they're?" Do you understand why my punctuation marks were inside of my quotation marks? If so, feel free to apply.
I know this description sounds dickish. It is not meant to put anyone off--I assure you that I love getting to know people, and improvising, and telling a good story.
I just want to make very clear, up-front, what I'm hoping to find in players, so that there is no confusion, nor any situation where we get two weeks in and everyone else is dissatisfied with one player's contributions and I have to ask someone to leave.
Anyway, now that that's all said, please seriously consider your talent & commitment level, and join what I hope will be a phenomenal RP experience :)

Standard point spread from PHB. I will allow PHB and Xanathar's, because those are the ones I have, and frankly I'm too poor to go out and get a bunch of additional supplements.
PLEASE also do your background, even if you just roll for it from the PHB, as I will use your particular background to drive certain story elements.
