Secrets of the forest [ EDIT ]
This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.
A man comes screaming into the town. Claiming a creature of gigantic proportion attack him and his friend. We both ran but he didn't make it. He is claiming DRAGON!
There have been rumors of other missing people. Seem now it is more real. The local guards have no intention of investigating. Some of local merchant's wagons have been lost too. Is it related?
There is coins to be made for the more adventurous.

Notice: As a GM I don't write very flowery. I have been playing for over 30 years. Yeah. I saw red box come and go.
This is a Pathfinder Game 1e version and not 2e. I'm Looking for up to 6 players. We are talking level 2 starting as I really hate having to hit level 1 and they get one shot'ed.
You all are from the general local, but really have come to the small outskirts town in answer to the problem. So your not from too far away. After all members have been completed, I will give you a starting post.
Looking more for the standard races (Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Half-Elf, Half-Orc, Halfling, Human) and classes mostly. Lets go with 1000gp of gold for gear. Yeah you can get most anything that you want coming here. Once here the market is very tight. A rather good size town, but not large enough to be a city.
Standard 20 point stats array. I really don't like to see low stats. Max HP at level one, and half max+1 on level 2.. This will continue for HP in the future. No need to roll. I'm expecting leveling.
Alignments are variable. Just like to see all as a team, so personality is likely more important.
Lets go with the standard Forgotten realms gods. I'm too lazy to build my own. Probably expect that most all character have some religion relationship. It is obvious to all they do exist. Prefer religion not to be a side thing.
I expect magic to be rather free in this campaign. Just the starting town is rather small and limited. Your lucky to get a potion or so out of it. Average person is not unknown to magic. As far as magic is concerned. It is the air. Kidding but not kidding.
Town supports: small Bard College, Several religions, Mercenary, Thieves guild, a Library, a local Wizard and some trade guilds.
For gear, should be armed up to survive in the Forest area. That is what surrounds the town. Mounts are fine if you want. Tents, rations, and water should be a notion.
It isn't a jungle out there but still a wild land. Town has a small wall around it for protection. It isn't exceptionally hot and not at all cold here. No local mountains, but there some hills near by. There is a river that has some activity on it near the town, but not in it. Town is on a trade route by land.
Local monsters are very possible. Area's around the town have never been settled. Town has no settlements outsides its walls. It is dependent on incoming supplies to survive. Town has never had problems before now, but life is changing.
World has 1 moon. Standard 30 day period. World has stand 4 seasons and 12 thirty day months. What a surprise. And you guessed it. Standard 24 hours days. Yeah I kinda do like lycanthropes...
