Aside from the obvious racial restriction, Standard Array or Point Buy. Characters will begin at level 3. Only classes and backgrounds from official sourcebooks are allowed (unfortunately, no Wildemount or Tal'dorei books since the DM does not have access).

I intend to place this game in the Forgotten Realms setting.
