There is a Hidden World of supernatural creatures and magicians. It?s not something most people are aware of. Those who know about the Hidden World don?t broadcast the fact to ordinary people, but they no longer fit into the everyday world. Some people stumble into it, and see evidence they can?t ignore, and the temptation to ignore the evidence can be nearly overwhelming. Others choose to investigate it, sometimes through the study of magic, either before or after contact with the supernatural.
Then there are people from the Hidden World who don?t fit in there and so become closer to ordinary mortals, or those who are always a bit ?in between?. Werewolves and Changelings?mortals with Fae heritage or otherwise touched by the Fae, for example. Or Dhampirs?the rare ?vampires gone wrong? who still retain a soul, at least until they give in to their full vampire nature.
A lone American late night DJ from a nothing station in the central UK has inadvertently struck a candle that threatens to illuminate the shadows and reveal the secrets of the hidden world beside our own. A light will be cast into the darkness. What lurks beyond the shadows will drive some men mad. For others, their souls shall be awakened.
Something goes bump in the night. It could be you.

The players will be navigating the new world about them. Mankind threatens to take a peak behind the curtain to see what might lie behind the curtain of the hidden world. But, still, life must go on.
The characters will be able to take their own direction. If they choose to seek to solve mysteries, navigate the world of liminal politics, survive in the in-between, or seek some other goal, the direction will largely be theirs. (More on this later.)

Characters can be of any background included within the rules. There will be some house rules posted soon, and players can modify, tweak and edit their characters through the initial phases of the game. (I AM open to the possibility of more than one character per player ... but, we can wait and see.)
