There are games, leisure activities, and feasts aplenty, But the thing that has drawn you is The Grand Contest of Champions. A grand quest that involves traveling across the kingdom, with an ultimate prize: lands and royal title for the champions that complete the quest before the end of the month.
Your challenge is to receive the blessing of The Seven Ancient Sages. Each Sage has created a challenge for any who would try their luck. A test of wits, skills, endurance. Will you prove your mettle and claim glory? Or be found wanting, sent home in defeat and disgrace?
However, rumors circulate. There is a growing unrest in the Living Kingdom. Whispers of a dark power building its influence on the fringes of the kingdom. In the dark corners of the local taverns, the common folk whisper of conspiracy. They say the Contest of Champions is a ruse to draw the villains out into the light.
