Fate in the 41st Millennium [ EDIT ]

This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.
It is the 41st Millennium…
For more than a hundred centuries the Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the master of Mankind by the will of the gods, and master of a million worlds by the night of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the Imperium for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day, so that he may never truly die.
Yet in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battle fleets cross the Daemon-infested miasma of the Warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Astronomican, the shining psychic manifestation of the Emperor’s will. Vast armies give battle in his name on uncounted worlds. Greatest among his soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bioengineered super-warriors. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Imperial Guard, the ever-vigilant Inquisition, and the Tech-Priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name but a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from aliens, heretics, mutants, and worse.
To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim darkness of the future, there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of the thirsting gods.

This game will be violent and have elements of horror. There will be no sexual violence tolerated.

The PCs will form a group that is working for/with an inquisitor to investigate instances and rumors of Chaos incursions in the Askellon Sector. We're going to be running at a high power level, so Space Marines, powerful Battle Psykers and Rogue Traders are all viable options for character choices. Some other character ideas include: highly skilled Imperial Guardsmen, Sisters of Battle, Skitarii (cybernetic soldiers), Death Cult Assassins, Tech Priests, and gunslinging Desperados.

I'm using Fate Condensed as a basis for the rules. I'll be making some modifications to account for the setting and power level. Player characters will have the following statistics:
5 Aspects
Eighteen Skills - 5 Average (+1), 4 Fair (+2), 3 Good (+3), 3 Great (+4), 2 Superb (+5), 1 Fantastic (+6)
Skill Cap will be at Fantastic (+6)
Refresh 6
5 Free Stunts
Stunts are worth 3 Shifts each
4 Physical and 4 Mental Stress Boxes to start, Skills and Stunts can add more
