Heroes of Mystara 2.0 [ EDIT ]

This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.

A nostalgic throw back to the 80s setting created for the BXCMI sets. There will be exotic monsters to fight and fantastic places to explore as we travel the Known World. This is a 5E game, but we'll revisit some of the themes and ideas from the first two decades of D&D. We'll start in the Grand Duchy of Karameikos and work our way out and around from there. I'm hopeful to take this campaign from lower to higher level, and we may explore the idea of settling your own lands as you all grow higher in level.

Character Generation Info

I'd like to use D&D Beyod for character creation and campaign management. The link to my campaign page is here. PCs will start at level 3. Any published race, class and subclass is allowed, with the exception of stuff published in Strixhaven. Use point buy for your ability scores, max hit points at level one, and average hit points from there. You have a 150 gold piece budget for equipment. If you wish to play a dragonborn, a tiefling, or any race not in the Player's Handbook we should collaborate on your backstory so we can firmly establish why you're in the part of the world you're in. In Mystara people follow the teachings of Immortals and belong to churches. If you want to play a cleric or paladin we should work on your backstory together as well.
