[BETA] DayZ Tabletop [ EDIT ]
This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.
Hi there! I've been sitting on this idea for quite a while. DayZ, a longtime favorite game of mine, is a Multiplayer Zombie Survival game about looting and shooting your way through abandoned towns, and I've always thought it would work great as an RPG. So, I built a system from scratch. I recently stumbled across this site and it feels like an interesting way to test it!
Some notes:
A. This system is completely untested. There will be jank, so come with an open mind.
2. As said above, I just found this site, so give me some time to figure it all out.
The system itself is pretty simple, since it predated me having ever played a tabletop. d20s for skill checks, simplistic skill-point based system.
Details about the campaign I've written in Character Gen.
Be kind unless you snuck up, and when in doubt, F11. -Cr

Your hiking trip through the rural, Black Sea nation of Chernarus has taken a wild turn. A few days ago, all you heard was one brief explosion. Yesterday, the country collapsed under the weight of the virus.
The "infected" seem more dead than alive, but the way they move, the way they groan, they can't be dead. Not yet, at least. From the edge of whatever town this is, you observe them. Every waving tree branch, every rustling leaf- they notice it. They can't be dead.
You don't know much, but what you do know is that you need to get out of here, preferably alive.
GM here, again:
The Character Sheet is currently being hosted in a fancy little spreadsheet I made. Not sure if there's an easy way to run it in-house, here. So I'll be editing this :)
