Ruins of the North TOR 1e [ EDIT ]

This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.

This is a carry over from a The One Ring version 1 (Cubicle 7) game. The Company has been finding and overcoming a series of challenges to the safety and security of Eriador. With the input of Gandalf and Elrond, as well as the Dunedain Rangers, they are building a picture that these challenges are driven by a stronger and darker will than the beings they come across.

They have beaten off an invasion of Archet, near Bree featuring renegade Numenoreans and bandits; foiled the plans of a Black Olog-hai Troll captain to unite the trolls of the Ettenmoors (while releasing an ancient spectral Huntress, Feredrun) ; slain an orc tribe (the Iron Eaters) ravaging the far west as the orcs looked for plunder of ancient artifacts of Angmar. More recently they have freed several captured hobbit children from a nefarious ritual and both overcome a plot to seize control in the southern city of Tharbad and now a Giant Orc who - much like the Iron Eater tribe, was hunting to capture artifacts that would enslave spectres of the Free peoples.

PLEASE NOTE This does NOT use the currently published set of Rules for TOR 2e (Free League).
