The Warp! Party [ EDIT ]
This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.
Caldera System: The Caldera system is a bustling yet troubled star system dominated by the Hegemony, featuring seven planetary bodies, including arid deserts, lush jungle moons, and a tidally locked forge world rich in rare metals. Factions vie for control, from the oppressive Hegemony to the clandestine Warp Consortium and the opportunistic Merchant Combine, while pirates lurk in the asteroid belts. Its cities and orbitals teem with life, intrigue, and danger, making it a vibrant setting for adventure.

For the forseeable future all characters are humans; no exceptions.
Make sure you label your rolls.
One character per player.
Determine Basic Attributes:
* Stamina: Roll 2d6+12. This represents your character's health and vitality. As a guideline, a score of 18-21 suggests a standard human from a world with normal gravity.
Luck: Roll 1d6+7. This represents your character's destiny and good fortune.
Assign Beginning Skills:
* Warpstar! uses adventuring skills. On your character sheet, mark ten skills at level 6, ten more at level 5, and the rest start at level 4. Descriptions of these skills can be found starting on page 27 of the Warpstar! Core Rulebook.
Choose a Starting Career:
* Roll a d6 four times to generate four different basic careers from the tables on page 33 of the Warpstar! Core Rulebook.
Pick one career that best fits your character concept.
Note the iconic possessions that come with your chosen career. You also start with 2d6 shards in cash.
Identify the adventuring skills associated with your career and their maximum levels (usually level 10 or 12).
Assign Career Skill Levels:
* From the skills listed under your chosen career, assign a total of 10 levels, respecting the maximum level for each skill. Remember to include the base levels assigned in step 2.
Determine your career skill level. This is an average of all the skill levels granted by your career (rounded up).
Select a Talent:
* All player characters start with a talent, a unique ability.
Roll 1d20 on Talent Table 1 (page 16 of the Warpstar! Core Rulebook) and 1d20 on Talent Table 2 (page 20 of the Warpstar! Core Rulebook).
Choose one talent from the two rolled options that best suits your character.
Develop Your Character:
* Come up with a physical description.
Consider three character traits from the list on page 80-81 of the Warpstar! Core Rulebook or create your own.
Think about your character's background based on the flavour tables associated with your chosen career
