The Storm to end all Storms [ EDIT ]
This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.
Ok, I'm taking the freakin plunge. I REALLY want to run a Numenera game and I've been agonizing over starting one here. I'm tired of worrying about it, so BOOM! NUMENERA CAMPAIGN!!! I'm not terribly experienced at GMing, but I'm hoping the PBP style hides that a little. Other than that I'm extremely motivated to run a good game so I can't wait to see if I can provide one. Enough of the Caveat stuff, lets get down to it...
This story starts in the Town of White Lake in the Beyond. The Characters will all be in this town for whatever reasons make sense to them. That can be figured out at creation. Could be passing through, could live there. Whatever works. Eventually a "thing" will happen and then another "thing" and soon some decisions will have to be made. That may or may not lead to another "thing" which may or may not lead to some more decisions. Either way, things will happen and decisions will have to be made. Does that make sense?
White Lake is pretty peaceful for a Town in the Beyond. The unofficial leaders, Hervan and Deil have maintained order and have been able to keep the populace (about 1,500 strong) prosperous and content with their lives. Everything seems right in this small corner of the Ninth World until a stranger comes to town. BUM-BUM-BUUUMMMMMMMMM!!!! As I mentioned I'm not super experienced but I like to GM and really want to improve, so I'm ripping the band-off here! GAH!! I DON'T WANT TO CLICK THE CREATE BUTTON, I'M NOT GONNA DO IT AHHH TOO LATE!!!!! :)

Really doesn't matter to me as long as it's from a Numenera book. The PC's don't necessarily have to know each other. based on what may happen they might have different reactions and pursue different ways to deal with it.
