Symbaroum - In the Depths of Davokar [ EDIT ]

This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.

The forest of Davokar is a singularly dangerous place, not just because of the fell creatures and darkfolk that inhabit the ancient forest, but also just by its nature. Those who long linger within find themselves twisted mockeries of their former selves. Or so the rumours go.

You have found yourselves on a river barge headed to Davokar forest. Your destination is an inn where you will meet with a merchant who will give you precise instructions to find an ancient ruin. He has offered good pay, although the treasures that can be found in such places has provided you will all the motivation you needed.

Still, almost immediately you find yourselves breaking the cardinal rule of adventuring: never get on the boat.

This is an introduction game to the world of Symbaroum. We will keep the rules simple, and full explanations of gameplay will organically arise as need be, such that you won't need the rulebook to participate.

Character Generation Info

Standard Symbaroum rules from the core rulebook. If you have the Advanced Players Guide and wish to use something specific, I will allow that, but will otherwise ignore everything but the CRB for this game.

A number of pre-generated characters will be made available for those who wish.

I have opened the game to 5 players, but I'm not firm on this number. More or less are acceptable - if the game appears full, send me a PM.
