"We're not sure. It's quite dangerous to play with any magic if you don't know what it does."

"Months, likely. Perhaps a year, it's hard to say for sure, the scholars haven't had much chance to raise one from infancy. I would recommend feeding it meat, fresh preferably. I have heard that drow nobles use them as mounts, so I should think so."

It's easy to find a shop nearby that sells general adventuring equipment.

Assuming everyone is done with everything, you all return for your night at the Silver Flagon. The place is quite busy, but you manage to secure a table. Sarith is even more tense than usual, eyes flicking back and forth across the room.

Hunter is informed that no messages were left and she is given the room keys when she pays.

Sarith nods at Elfog, "I am sure you are right," he says, but his vigilance isn't dulled in the slightest.

About an hour later, a young man, probably in his early 20s, comes striding into the building. He has blond hair, is tall, and wears a gleaming suit of full plate armor. The room quiets noticeably upon his entrance and you hear some speak about "The Knights in Silver" with respect. He approaches the bar, speaks to the bartender a moment, and then heads over to your table, dipping a graceful bow in spite of his heavy armor, and says, "Excuse me, my name is Veren, first lieutenant, Knight in Siver. I was sent by Magister Danforth to tell you that he has accepted your request for an audience and will see you at dawn tomorrow at the palace."

"I will be back in the morning to escort you, so you don't get lost." he says with a smile at Hunter and another bow before he turns and leaves.
