Leylin does in fact make the connection that this is a necromancer from the Red Wizards of Thay.
Nov 17, 2018 4:12 am
Bebaral’s arrow hits and tears a section of rotting flesh from the lead zombies’ form. It turns its attention towards the halfling and ambles towards him and attempts to slam into him through the rubble....

The other zombies follow the first out of the tower, and more begin to emerge from the broken tower, and they continue to pour out until there are ten zombies beginning to swarm the party.

Leylin sees the Red Wizard lift his head suddenly, hearing the sounds of an altercation and the shuffling of his minions feet outside the tent. He quickly rises from the desk and makes his way out of the tent.

What is the meaning of this? demands the Wizard.

Gu’lorg sees the sheer volume of bodies, and he tactically determines a course of action. He whispers a word in the goblin tongue (Dhalkaan or daan Huukekuuch, hakhaar dhuur.), waved his hands a bit, and points to the campfire in the middle of the space.

He then drags his fingers in a motion to have it collide with the red-clad spellcaster.

Once that is complete, he will step back a few paces, giving him some room and obscurity of the wall between him and these undead.
OOC:
Action: cast Flaming Sphere in the campfire (if anything flammable is in there, it will have caught on fire)
Bonus Action: move sphere to hit the caster
Move Action: move Gu’lorg down 3 squares

Question for Leylin: does your telepathy transmit only messages, or can you send Gu’lorg images of the back of the battlefield?

By the way, what happened to Droop?

OOC:
Ski, my readied action would have triggered when #2 came into my range.
As the zombies approach, Nine's huge axe swings around and around, attacking the zombies near the construct. With each attack, it's eyes flash a brighter red. This is not an idea situation. There are many more zombies than us.
OOC:
If my first attack drops #2 Nine will move up and swing at #3

For clarity:
Reaction: when zombies came up triggered readied attack action on #2
Action: attacking #2 if not down from readied attack, attacking #3 if #2 dropped from readied attack

It didn't take my 2nd attack roll. Rolling now.

As the endless stream of undead walk toward us, I exclaim: — How many of them are there?!
I draw Talon and get ready to us it, asking Gu'lorg: Are we trying to keep that place intact? Because I've got this scroll from Glasstaff's lab that could help, but would completely blow those ruins up!
Sword in one hand, shield raised with the other, I'll do my best to protect my wizard friend from the rotting corpses that are assaulting us.

Action: Green-Shocking Blade*
OOC:
First attack with Talon lands! :D
... but does crappy damage.
OOC:
I forgot to add in the attacks: initial attack is Magical Slashing damage ; secondary damage is Lightning Damage.
[ +- ] Green shocking blade

I position myself behind the wizard, two shortswords in hands, ready to stop him from casting if he tries it...
OOC:
@Skeeze, if I remember it correctly, Divine Fury would apply on the readied attack as well.

OOC:
Yeah, I wasn't sure based on the wording since it says "the first creature you hit on each of your turns with a weapon attack takes extra damage" I didn't know if that would take effect on a reaction/readied attack. Since something like extra attack doesn't take effect on a readied attack/reaction.

OOC:
That is correct...anyone that has exhaustion (Bebaral and Gu'lorg) only have 1 level as the long rest removes a level

Umm.... how far up are these crumblign walls?
Per above post, you only have 1 level of exhaustion...walls vary in size due to crumbling from 1 foot off the ground up to 9-10 feet.

By the way, what happened to Droop?
OOC:
Honestly forgot about him...I'll allow you to run him on your initiative, but he needs to make a wisdom saving throw (Dc10 plus damage) any time he is attacked...on a hit or miss. If he manages not to run away in fear than we can talk about him staying around more long term.
Nov 19, 2018 8:48 pm
The Red Wizard is able to avoid the majority of the sphere's damage as it is run into his body.

Seven's rage filled attack drops #2, the body completely dismantled from the combination of brute strength and divine energy.

Spark begins chopping away at 4 as energy leaps off Talon into #3.
