Dent swings their shield with glee and yells "For the Host!" as a gleaming warhammer appears and attacks on the other end of the ship. Before they see if that attack connected, Dent steps, spins and swings the weapon in their metal hands at the wandslinger nearest them.

An ominous chime fills the air, the wandslinger's eyes go wide before shifting back to normal. "What the..." He says under his breath.

Dent's hammer swings harmlessly through the air, the wandslinger ducking under the blow. Looking back you notice the skulker likewise sidesteps your attack.

"Watch where you're swinging that thing!" Shouts the orc guard angrily, content with protecting Stellard.

Stunned for the briefest of moments when the skulker discovers the poison had no effect is all you need to you close the distance, your swing cuts him to the ground. Barely breathing, there is great anger in his eyes. "Coward."

Dent once again swings their hammer at the Wandslinger. "The Host take you!" they cry with a cracked voice. As they follow through with the attack, and they glance towards the bow, the spectral hammer completes its own swing at a skulker.

As Dent swings at the wandslinger, their hammer flares into a streak of light, striking at the wandslinger (Guided strike +10, for a total of 17 to hit)

OOC:
I was attacking the one marked 2 that is 3 east and 2 north of my current position. I rolled with advantage in the hopes that my attempt to hide within the barrels granted me it.

Ignoring his insults Vimik you deliver the killing blow to the weakened skulker.

"Why do you persist?!" Yells the wandslinger, beginning to lose his nerve. "Burn!" he thrusts his wand out, shooting a stream of fire at the three at the captains wheel. "NO!" Shouts the orc, maneuvering to protect Stellard from the ever deadly flames, taking the brunt of the attack. "Get back you devils!" Stellard does his best to remain unshaken, crouching with hands blocking his head from the fire.

Quick on his feet Aren sees his spell take effect immediately, wandslinger and nearby skulker suddenly stop moving entirely, their knees buckling until they pass out cold on the hardwood floor.

The remaining two enemies give each other a quick look before turning to escape. A deadly arrow and Dent's spectral hammer strikes the skulker as he turns his back, knocking him down the stairs. Standing at the bow, the lone wandslinger pulls out his climbing apparatus. "Your Tarkanan friends cannot protect you forever Stellard! We will take what is due!"
OOC:
Okay, Vimik attacked skulker 2 first (and gets the kill) so I'll redirect Fink's attack to skulker 4 (Let me know if you would like something different.)

Combat is effectively over, but if anyone has any tricks up their sleeve to stop the last wandslinger's exit one person may attempt to stop him.

Dent roll a dex save (DC 11) to determine if half damage (no concentration roll required for spirit weapon in this case).

Rolls

Burning hands - (4d6)

Planting the claw into the hull, the wandslinger begins to descend, tearing small bits of wood. Before climbing below he shakes his head, swatting an imaginary enemy before slumping over, simply falling overboard. From below a scream is heard, echoing through the air.

The skycoach is a disaster: the deck is riddled with corpses of enemy and ally alike, paint and wood scratched, bloodied, or blackened, and a horrid smell lingers in the air. Any remaining passengers who are still above deck cower in fear, praying silently for this horror to pass.

This spectacle has garnered a few curious onlookers from the surrounding towers and bridges, but soon everyone is in a rush to leave as a siren wails in the distance. "Is everybody alright?" Stellard asks, wiping away sweat from his brow. "I hope you don't mind if we take a quick detour, I'd rather not be present when the Watch arrive." Not waiting for an answer, he pilots the skycoach away from the direction of the sirens, glancing back with a nervous expression.
"Stellard, we need to drop off the pass-"
"Yes I know! First we need to get somewhere safe."
"...Fine."
Dent and Aren overhear Stellard arguing with his remaining guard in a hushed tone.
Dec 18, 2018 11:03 pm
OOC:
Was the scream from below deck or outside of the ship? How many allies are down?
Dent assesses the damage and makes a motion like they are taking a deep breath, a habit picked up from fighting sids by side with humans. "Immediate threat neautralized, watch for new incoming threats" they murmur, then more loudly "Capitan, do you have a safe place to bring the craft? Something near the Burning Heart would be best for my team."

Perception, looking for injured allies/innocents - (1d20+2)

Dec 19, 2018 6:44 am
OOC:
The scream was from an observer. The orc near the front is dead, Stellard and the remaining orc are both alive, although definitely wounded.
"Hm?" Stellard turns toward Dent, forgetting he was present. "Ah, about that... I do ever so appreciate your help in this unseemly manner, but I was hoping we could first drop the ca-passengers somewhere a bit less... conspicuous. Speaking of, Jak why don't you tell the others below it's safe." Stellard tries to steer the conversation as well as he steers the skycoach. Giving a short nod the orc shambles to the hatch, muttering "This never happened when we stuck to the schedule."

Once the fight is over, Fink comes out from his cover to assess his allies and discuss the only thing he is concerned about.

We need to get to the burning heart. It is imperative. ANY delays will not be tolerated.

I listen intently to what is being said, but more importantly, what isn’t.

Rolls

"Capitan, as you say, we have assisted you. Now we need you to aid us and take us as close to Burning Heart as you can. We have an appointment to keep."
Dent glances at the setting sun seems to re consider and change their approach "I do not know if you wish to involve the City Watch in this matter, or if you wish to keep this an internal matter with your House, we can do as you wish in this if you do as we wish."

Rolls

Intimidation - (1d20+2)

(9) + 2 = 11

Dec 20, 2018 8:45 pm
Cleaning raider from his blade, Vimak wanders over to the group, looming as needed to add weight to the conversation.
Dec 21, 2018 5:25 am
"N-now hold on just a moment!" Stellard starts to look nervous at everyone's demands. "Surely you understand the need for the other passengers to first be released, this has clearly been a traumatizing experience, and it would be a disservice to continue while the La Velvel Sail is in such a sorry state. I won't be able to fly for a week, if I'm lucky."

I form a ball on energy in my hand. Tell me Stellard, why don’t you want to wait around for the Watch? You were attacked, perhaps they could help?
