Veroth searches the room but fails to find anything of interest. It would seem Shandra was right, and anything of value probably rotted or broke down long ago. Veroth does find some evidence that this room was probably a laboratory of sort at some point, finding old broken glass containers and vials, rotted tomes, and rusted pieces of metal which may or may not have been part of some measuring device...
Thoughts of trudging through Otyughs waste somehow doesn't strike Mark as thang he wasn't to do. That has got to be the nastiest way to go. I rather some brave sole scout that out.
"I'm not too interested in doing that either. I've been imprisoned for untold centuries, and I think I have much better things to do with my newfound freedom than wade in filth..."
You make your way outside and notice that your new friend Adrith who had remained behind to guard the entrance seems to have vanished without a trace...
OOC:
That ought to take care of the character until such time as Khotanos coming back, if he ever does... Then I'll think of what might have happened to his character in the meantime...
Mark is glad to back out and breathes the fresh air. He takes down his flying light source. So where else would you be looking for this book that you seek?
He looks to Shandra, Nice to see the world again. Been a while for you.
"Ah yes. I had almost resigned myself to never see the sky again. Even this grey misty sky is beauty to my eyes." She says this with teh biggest smile on her face.
I didn't come here for this lost book, but it seems to be more important than finding a lost person. I think I can delay my search for the person to later time. Mark thinks outload.
Can you Shandra delay what ever you were considering to join us in the search? I like to see you with us.
"Supposedly there are witches lairing at the ruined monastery on the Lygasa Hills further north-northeast-ish. Apparently Madam Eva's readings told us we would find the tome there."
"Well, considering that I cannot leave until we deal with this Strahd person, and this book seems to be somehow be important in order to defeat him, it seems I don't have much choice in the matter, I guess. But as I stated earlier, I'm not quite sure what use I'll be in combat as I am more of a scholar..."
He says to Ireena Sounds like a plan. and turning his attentions to Shandra I'm sure your fine. Perhaps later you can tell me more of your lands and such. When we aren't too busy.
