Mark doesn't need a second invitation to talk with Shandra. He will spend time chatting with her about what he knows of the area and any changes she might have missed. Appears he has time as it will be a while before we arrive at the next destination. Mark doesn't know much of this areas, but does his best.

Heather will join their conversation, although her additions are mostly focused on the church and helping remove the evil scourge from this land.

As you make towards the road Ireena chimes in. "If we turn back towards the village, we won't be able to make it to the Lygasa Hills before nightfall."

Mark says, Lets not digress and keep on our way. Lygasa hills isn't too far away. Later we can perhaps digress to something other. Mark seems rather focused.

You're close to reaching the road again. From your point of view, the Lygasa Hills loom in front of you. the slope is a bit too steep at this particular area. You could continue down the road to go around it and find a more gentle slope there (using more or less the same road you used when you were trying to find Janis' hideout). You know that following this road, you will reach the ruined monastery pretty much at around sunset, you'll be cutting it close, assuming no distractions along the way. Or you could try to cut through the forest (and the unknown), and hopefully find a shortcut...

Heather thinks they should stay on the main road, but will not argue the point if the others disagree with her.
