As you make your way down the road, Darren will notice two human Vistani trailing the party, hiding in the underbrush alongside the road, maybe about 50 feet behind you, trailing you and observing you. Roland will notice that they are accompanied by a halfling Vistani.

"Oh? Do you mean the two men with that child? I saw them about ten minutes ago, but lost track of them. I thought maybe they were lost and wanted to ask for directions, but were intimidated by me... I felt they might still be around. They have a very exotic look to them, I don't recall having ever seen humans like that before..."
