Just passed the empty room, the main hallway turns again to the right. Again you see more doors, though these appear to have slot panels be of yet a new color - Orange.

"I'm guessing the different zones in this cave are for different groups of these humanoids. Perhaps they have different clans, or classes, or hierarchies, as indicated by the door colours. Quite evident that certain keys open certain doors." With this right turning corridor still appearing uninhabited, there was no choice but to press on further in until they find something.

Hearing Hraefn's explanation Bram suggests, "Here's another couple of possibilities. The different colors could indicate different departments or different levels of access."

Cædwyn nods, though personally keeping areas for the nobility separate from the servant areas makes more sense to him.

Merriweather
You stop to examine the orange-colored door but find nothing odd or abnormal about it. As you turn to leave, however, you hear sound coming from the far side. It is very faint, almost imperceptible in the echoing noises ever-present in these weird caves, but you heard a distinct noise that sounded like a bell, gong and a squawking bird of some kind.

"So while we are unable to open these doors, we should be wary when they do open, seeing as they have occupants." Hraefn noted Merriweather's observation. They had only found bones and broken down golems, but clearly the place was filled with other creatures.

Cædwyn nods, "Well, nothing for it but to keep trying." Keeping his weapon drawn he'll proceed down the hall to the next door. This place has him a bit on edge, the emptiness and strange noises. An unseen enemy is his least favorite enemy.

Caedwyn
Leading your group down the hallway, it ends in a door with a violet-colored panel. A quick investigation reveals nothing of interest, so you turn north. The hallway continues out of sight, but along the way you see yet another door on the right. In the distance, Bram's light reveals a 4-way intersection.More of the same, metal halls, same grated floor, and strange pipes and wires running the length of the ceiling. Trash and debris litter the place, strewn about as if someone were just kicking it around while they walk.

You continue to feel the strange vibration emanating from somewhere within the caves, and the noises remind you of times you walked in the deep forests of Geoff. Just passed the intersection, you can see another opening with no door.

I pull my cloak tight and walk up the walls, until I'm walking along the ceiling. I move slowly down the hall, trying to remain stealthy.

"This is certainly strange. The place looks abandoned, and yet it would certainly seem that someone opened the outside doors for us. She pondered on the fact as she followed Caedwyn's leadership through the halls. "Simple conjecture, but what if someone here is asking for help? A survivor of whatever rendered the place so... Desolate."

"There are a couple other options. It could be opened every morning to air the place out or it could be an invitation to trap us here." Bram shrugs and keeps walking.

You slowly make your way up the hallway to the large intersection. Across from you you can see a large pile of trash clogging the corridor, while the other two branches seem to be clear. At the end of the east branch you see that it turns left, yet another addition to the twisting maze of empty hallways. Down there, however, you can see flickering light. Not torchlight or some kind of fire, but a vibrating blue-white

Think creepy asylum where the lights are flickering on and off.
As you take stock of what is going on, you suddenly hear screeches and grunts, followed by what sounds like angry chattering coming from an open doorway next to the trash heap. Before you can respond, a dark figure emerges from the doorway. It is a humanoid-looking figure, perhaps 3-4 feet tall and very thin. It's misshapen head, razor teeth and claws give it the look of a living plant. A crude spear of some sort is being carried by it, as as soon as it sees you it freezes.

A split second later, the creature begins stomping the floor, waving its spear and screeching angrily in your direction. Inside, you hear an eruption of more calls just like the one emitting by the plant-thing, and you realize that there are more of the things in the room.

The silence was too good to be true. Finally, one of the doors opened, and from the looks of it, a whole bunch of plant-men were about to descend on them. Hraefn, who had been holding a flame in his hand for light, simply hurled it in the direction of the creature.
OOC:
Hraefn had been concentrating on Produce Flame as a light source, and will launch it instead.
