Not to be an ass, and I know I sometimes get slow to respond because of work and a couple of recent, impromptu staycations, but I would really like to try and keep the game on a daily-posting schedule. If you cannot make that (weekday) commitment, let me know and I'll either make it a 1/week posting schedule or drop you from the game...

...I get frustrated more for the other players stuck waiting on others, especially during combat times and now that I have switched gears to try another method. I summarily dropped two others from my Heroes of Geoff game for consistently dropping from view. Again, sorry to sound like a dick, but the longer things go, the more others get bored and begin to fall out as well.

Fair play boss. I'm with you on that.

FYI, I have dropped all but 2 of the original players in my Heroes of Greyhawk game, and am soliciting replacements. I lost a paladin and rogue that I am seeking to replace.

I'm guessing our cleric or bard can only prep Greater Restoration after a long rest, by which time Fernal will also have rested.

I have Greater Restoration prepared right now and one 5th level slot to cast it, though I was saving that slot for raise dead.

Disadvantage on ability checks is not so bad unless we start stealthing about. Even then, we have the means to overcome it. Your attacks will still be normal so...

Also, Greater Restoration cost components worth 100gp each time you cast it, so don't expect people to constantly be willing to remove your exhaustion.

I don't have a spellcasting focus (Holy symbol) right now either.

True, not that you'd need one for Greater Restoration as the required costly material component means you can't use a focus with that spell anyway. Regardless, we don't have the components so if you're gonna frenzy you have to play the cost regardless. Fortunately 1 level of exhaustion isn't that bad.

Hey all,

I had originally planned to run the classic series from G1->G2->G3->D1->D2->D3->Q1, but am thinking of throwing in some fan-based adventures as well. For example, instead of going from Hill to Frost giants, there is a Stone Giant adventure as well, and then later on some other giant types.

Would you all be interested in that? Or would you prefer to run through the classic, as envisioned by one E.G.G?
