Xul in Ket's other game is a Great Old One warlock. Perhaps Aelar can multiclass into madness. ^;,;^

Yea. I don't usually mention this, but I've read everyone's character sheets more than once, and I definitely read most of the backstory stuff from Maj and Xul, and I gotta say I really like him. Aelar doesn't really know much about that though, so Xul would have to somehow put that forward to him.

Wouldn't really be amenable to that multi-class idea as a player though. Only reason I'd do that was if I wanted to do Devil Sight/Darkness combo in combination with Elvish Accuracy and my blade-singing, but I think going straight wizard will be better for him.

One of my college friends ran a D&D tournament for all his 7 players to fight in against one another. Needed to round out the tournament with an even number, so he invited me to join for a session or two. I leveled up Aelar to 10th level and gave him the title Aelar "The Ghostflame" Yaeldrin, for his fighting style of using a flame-tongue scimitar and greater invisibility in combination with elven accuracy to crit-fish and absolutely slaughter everyone without giving them an easy means of retaliating. Really hoping to be able to do much the same in Ket's game.

Slicing and dicing! I've played a 15th level version of Xul in a one shot here on the Plane recently. Monstrous!

Multiclassing isn't necessary, I suppose. All it takes is one blasphemous tome to entice a wizard down a whole new path of insanity... and Xul will have one of those next level. ;) Xul's patron is becoming more active, so Xul will definitely have things to say if things continue like this.

Did I just miss a whole Cthulhu convo? Darn. Anyway, Maj is not really turning out to be a mad cultist, so I'll probably retcon him and leave the GOO madness to Xul.

I'm speculating on Julian having a huge planar battle by himself with the mysterious sorceress. :)

Kinda terrified she might be a diviner, and this might end up devolving into a magical espionage / counter-espionage war.

A request for DM's consideration though. In any game there'll be parts where individual characters are off doing their own things, or the party is split. I'd enjoy reading those parts too, even if my PC isn't involved. So if Julian is having a big scene, it'd be fun to read how it plays out. Promise to uphold the PC vs player knowledge difference, as always. Case in point is Ket's GA game, where PCs had their own thread, but it was open for reading.

Unless of course, the note-passing is equivalent to at-the-table note-passing, ie. let's kill/steal/betray other PCs, in which case, carry on the secrecy! :D :D

I have to second that. I'd love to read the extraplanar shenanigans.

As the person who started the note passing, I'm totally fine with sharing if Ket wants to. I thought it might be more fun to keep things hidden, and mysterious, but if you guys would rather know then I'm fine with that.

When all is said and done, I am going to consolidate it into a single post for ya'll to read.
