The crew remains vigilant against another ambush, but no threats appear for a good while.
Magda seems very interested in everything on the ship, particularly the captain. She says she's never seen a minotaur before. She also spends time at the prow, wind whipping her wispy grey hair, watching Chelonax. While she carries the baby, Lena, in her arms the whole time, she doesn't seem very motherly. She confesses she never married, and never had children.
It will take about an hour and a half to get to your destination. Everyone benefits from a Short Rest during this time.

Halfway to where Alcyestris was last seen, a lifeboat is sighted. It seems to be missing its oars. The little craft bobs up and down on the waves, drifting along the ocean currents directly in the Kestrel's path. There is only one occupant.
"Grog! he shouts down at the strange human bobbing in their little dingy.
" Grog's grog! Me Grog!
He then stamps his foot on top of what he's standing on.
