Let's talk ship size for a second, so I can be clear on some details. I assumed that the Potential was large enough to have at least one shuttlecraft. Kendall's ship was described as large enough for one or two people, so I thought it would be about the size of a shuttlecraft. That's why I figured it could be beamed aboard without too much difficulty.

So, a) Does the Potential have shuttlecraft?, and b) How does the Renzi compare to shuttlecraft in size?

Yeah, we should solve those questions first.

I assume that the Potential has shuttlecrafts but that Kendall's ship would be much larger than a shuttlecraft as it is supposed to be self-sustained for a long time and probably has a loading bay as well.
Honestly, before you brought it up, I didn't even think about whether it might be too large for a loading bay. I guess it could be able to fit. Maybe we shouldn't get too hung up about this and just say it would fit.

Hero, let us know what you think. How large is your ship compared to a shuttlecraft?

My idea in doing the transporter beam was that it would get Kendall integrated into the Potential part of the storyline quickly, not to try to manhandle her character, but I obviously, it really is up to Hero whether she wants to go along with it.

I envision it being larger than a shuttle, yes. It's probably the size of Slave One (going from Star Trek to Star Wars) for a size reference. Maybe 2 or 3 times the size, though. Not terribly large.

Okay, so I will probably be changing my action after I ask my Laser Feelings question.

I'm a little confused. Are Laser Feelings able to allow for "changes" to the situation, or are they just a way to get knowledge that a person would already be able to access, just more easily? The Kendall v Cassano piece threw me off a bit, and it's been years since I've played this regularly.

According to the game sheet, when you get the answer to a Laser Feelings question, you can change your action completely if you want to. So as of now, the "beam the ship to cargo bay two" thing did NOT happen. I'm trying to get the insight from my Laser Feelings question so I can decide what my actual action is going to be.
