You'll still have someone else. Of course they would be of a lower rank but that should not be a big problem. They would also have less experience than Darcy, of course, but you can find a replacement

Well, I realized a couple of days ago who I wanted Alex to end up being, and sarcasm is major part of that character. And a foul mouth. That will come later. :)

When this is over and people are back on the Potential calling Zephyr "Roast Chicken," Cass is going to be pretty disappointed that she missed the source of that in-joke.

Also, Moonbeam, you just sent a miffed Darcy to the same sick bay as her dad. Who is unconscious. Who we were supposed to get immediate help for. Who she is probably convinced she'll never see alive again because, I mean, space pirates.

I told them to inform me when she arrived and to keep me updated on her condition. I didn't get an acknowledgement of that order
I also didn't elaborate on why she was coming. Probably should have.
