If you wanna take a crack at drawing Marbo Zlam, fly at her. Ive got about six pages in my work notebook that are full of concept sketches i intend to post, but im interested to see what you come up with compared to what ive got.

It occurs to me that while I did specifically state that Cass read everything she could find on Captain Tulak, I didn't, as a player, specifically ask what the people who spoke against Tulak's promotion had to say about why they did that. Can we assume that Cass knows that information, if she read everything she could find, or was that information not included in materials Cass could access?

What was speaking against her promotion was the fact that during her early career there had been two disciplinary hearings against her. You can easily look up what they were about. The first one was her acting against her captain's direct orders to beam onto a space station under attack to rescue a group of trapped civilians. The other one was over opening fire on and destroying a diplomatic vessel that had been taken hostage by terrorists and put on collision course with a small mining colony, killing both the diplomat and the terrorists.

Without these transgressions, she would have been promoted to Captain even earlier.

I messaged Keyring two days ago to ask if he's coming back but I still haven't received a reply. I hope he'll still return as well but maybe we should look for one or two new people. I feel bad about having Zephyr alone in the b-thread.

Yeah, that's unfortunate. I hope he'll come back, but you're right - it's not fair to have Zephyr stuck being the only PC on the away team's thread. Maybe look for one new player to start with? I have a feeling this could get way unwieldy if we end up with too many players.

Do any of you know someone who might be interested? Since we only have one spot to fill at the moment, that would be the easiest way. If you don't have any ideas, I'll just post again in the forum here and see if someone is interested.

I assume that Starfleet members got paid some money to trade with non-Federation citizens. Which in turn leaves the question where the Federation gets its Latinum from. Since it can't be replicated, do they have a whole division of Starfleet dedicated to obtaining a substance that is utterly useless except to let their crewmembers order drinks at a bar instead of a replicator? I think we're just not supposed to think too much about it
