Yep everyone starts 'normally' with 3 unless you don't have something that add or subtracts due to hindrances or edges. Playing off your Hindrances will reward them, if it's face to face I usually give one to who ever shuffles the off deck when I start dealing from the alternate deck. So you could use one to reroll if you like.Mar 18, 2019 5:47 pm
OOC:
Hmmm... Before doing that, just to confirm: An Ace is essentially the same thing as an exploding dice, right?Mar 19, 2019 4:23 pm
OOC:
Well, realistically, I have to get aces then, to succeed. Here's hoping!Edit: Oh, well. A critical failure, though, is only when I roll a one at both die, right? Not in this case, for example?

We'll go with the better of the two rolls.Charlotte opts to try and fire the rifle at Aunt Mary but the shot goes wide and leaves her shoulder a bit sore from not bracing correctly.
[ +- ] Double ones when shooting
It could be a jam or we roll for someone in the group getting shot instead. XD

Dismissing the girl shooting Aunt Mary turns her unseeing gaze at Yngwie a gibbering sound burst out of her mouth as she sizes him up trying to shake off the blow from before. She launches her self at him in a moment of clarity slashing at him with elongated clawlike fingers. He dodges out of the way before she connects.
OOC:
fyi with a fighting of d8 your parry would be 6 (8/2+2) and Brindy is upRolls

All teenagers can do everything, if you want to use the Aim move you can shoot the following round. It'll be +2 to your shooting roll.Mar 29, 2019 6:55 pm
OOC:
Sorry for taking so long, busy week. So, uhm, can I aim twice? As in, is that bonus cumulative, or do I lose it if I don't use it in the next round?"I-I'll try to aim at its head, guys! Keep at i-it!" She says, hoarse words barely coming out of her mouth. She narrows her eyes at the thing, bits her lips and a fire starts to grow inside her. What the fuck is that, anyway?! The young woman's anger boils quickly, and she can't help but to grab the book from the floor and throw it at the thing as she hassles her. "Hey, Auntie May! Cover your ugly face with that horrible journal, because you clearly forgot your makeup!". As soon as she notices what she did, her eyes go wide as she quickly steps behind the sofa and its back at trying to get a good shot at the thing.

Rolls
Wild Card - (1d6)
(5) = 5
Taunting the thing - (1d6)
(4) = 4

OOC:
Guess I should have read everything New SW it's not +2 it ignores up to 4 points in penalties from Range, cover, called shot, scale and speed. It would apply to the next action with the thing you're aiming at so I guess it wouldn't actually help you since you still have the untrained issue. You could try and distract it using a Test of will like Taunting to see if you keep them distracted, on a raid I believe you'd gain +2 to your next action against them.Mar 31, 2019 4:22 pm
Brindy staggers around trying to avoid getting shot, crashing into a side table and knocking over a family picture of seven ugly people. She pushes off the wall with her left arm, reverses her knife grip and punch stabs the demon, snarling at shin pain.

Charlotte gets Mary distracted and she falls prey to Brindy stabbing her.
OOC:
You hit with a raise, lets get a 1d4+Str dice +1d6 (From the raise to hit), add everything up for how much damage and we'll see how she fairs against the old college try.Apr 1, 2019 3:09 pm
The blade sinks into her neck.

Mary seems to move just out of the way before Brindy can lean into her attack slicing at her victim before she sees Mary turn and snarl at her.She shakes out of it and attempts an attack on the knife stabby girl.
Between the shouting and the stabbing Mary doesn't seem to connect besides being able to flail at the air with her clawed hands.
OOC:
Shaken again, since she has Hardy 2nd shaken doesn't cause a wound for her.Between the shouting and the stabbing Mary doesn't seem to connect besides being able to flail at the air with her clawed hands.

Yngwie is up and if you attempt melee you'll be two on one so you'll be at +1 (it applied to Brindy but she rolled a 14 so it didn't change much)Rolls
