OOC:
Ahh, that's was a mistake on my part. That sounds like an excellent plan though.
Yngwie just goes fucking nuts, smashing the chair into the monstrous woman until it breaks apart then starts stabbing at her with the sharp broken ends of the chair legs.

Rolls

Fight (Wild Attack) - (1d8+2, RA)

(87) + 2 = 17

Wild - (1d6+2, RA)

(62) + 2 = 10

OOC:
Nice! Assuming I hit again. Not sure which roles the +2 apply to, so just adding that to everything. Easy to adjust if wrong.

Rolls

Damage - (1d8+2, RA)

(1) + 2 = 3

Damage - (1d6+2, RA)

(5) + 2 = 7

Apr 2, 2019 2:58 pm
OOC:
So you hit with a 19 (17 wild attack +joker) and hit with a raise so an extra 1d6 in addition to what you roll no +'s, Nnormally it would have been 1d8+1d6+4 (wild attack damage and the joker damage) so you're at 10 plus what you roll on the raise d6 damage (you want to roll a 2+)
Apr 2, 2019 4:46 pm
Ahh, so another d6 then? Sorry, still trying to get my head around this system.

Rolls

Moar! - (1d6)

(2) = 2

Apr 2, 2019 5:39 pm
OOC:
If you hit your target number (TN) you pass, after each increment of four plus the TN, sometimes you get multiple raises due to exploding die. TN, TN+4, TN+8, etc. It's mostly a loose light system, some crunch I guess.
Yngwie onslaught stops his hands wrapped around a rather stout chair leg, a piece of wood sticking out of Mary.
OOC:
If yall haven't figured out Mary is a Wild Card also. I'll use one of her bennies to see if she soaks the wound cause, if not she's shaken and at 1 wound. That means if she was a normal person she'd at -1 to all rolls and needs to unshake before she can do something besides move. Currently she's shaken and has a wound due to Mary being the 'new Mary' she doesn't suffer from wound penalties.
OOC:
Charlotte's up, remember this is Savage Worlds not every fight is about unwanten violence. Taunting, and tricks are a thing as well. But since it's me you'll need to RP that also.

Rolls

Soak Check - (1d8, RA)

(1) = 1

Soak Wild - (1d6, RA)

(3) = 3

Apr 4, 2019 6:17 pm
"C'mon, k-keep hitting that thing!" Says Charlotte in an uncertain tone, encouraging both Yngwie and Brindy, while also stepping away until she's close to the door that leads to outside. Her back leans into it... And she shoots once more.
OOC:
Aight, but seeing Yngwie wreck her ass like that, I'm not sure Landon wouldn't shoot. 😅

Rolls

Untrained - (1d4, RA)

(3) = 3

Wild Card - (1d6, RA)

(2) = 2

Apr 4, 2019 9:17 pm
Charlotte flies out the door onto the deck from the kick from the rifle she wasn't expecting while standing and shooting.

Mary finding the primary agresser actually watches Yngwie while shaking her head and tries to attacks him wildly as he moves away form splintering wood from gun fire.
OOC:
Parry should be 6 for Y btw (2+(d8/2))
Yngwie moves to try and not let her grab on as she claws at him level him [Shaken] from the sudden attack and gunshot.
OOC:
Brindy's up +1 to attack (her parry is also lower till her next turn).

Rolls

Unshake check - (1d8+2, RA)

(6) + 2 = 8

Unshake WIld - (1d6+2, RA)

(65) + 2 = 13

Wild attack w/ 1 wound - (1d8+1, RA)

(82) + 1 = 11

Wild attack wild die w/ 1 wound - (1d6+1, RA)

(3) + 1 = 4

Claw attack with a raise - (1d8+2, 1d6, RA)

1d8+2 : (1) + 2 = 3

1d6 : (3) = 3

forgot the raise damage die - (1d6, RA)

(2) = 2

Apr 4, 2019 9:29 pm
Brindy, unsatisfied with her knife's effect on the creature shudders from fear but it's just a defense mechanism. She knows deep down that she should look timid but act viciously. She darts forward and attacks again with her reverse knife fighters grip which is harder than it looks on TV.

Rolls

Stabbing, Wild - (1d6, 1d6, RA)

1d6 : (4) = 4

1d6 : (3) = 3

Apr 5, 2019 1:01 pm
Brindy in the confusion connects with her knife.
OOC:
Wild Attack has her Parry reduced until she acts again. Roll damage
Apr 5, 2019 1:09 pm
OOC:
Rolling damage

Rolls

1d4+Str - (2d4)

(13) = 4

Apr 5, 2019 1:57 pm
Attempting to parry...
OOC:
So that's 2+(12/2) -> 8 correct?
Yngwie's somehow managing to fend her off, beating her clawed hands away with what remains of the chair.

Rolls

Wild - (1d6, RA)

(2) = 2

Strength - (1d8, RA)

(84) = 12

Apr 5, 2019 7:54 pm
OOC:
You don't have to roll. Parry's one of the traits on your character sheet, it's the Target Number to hit you in melee. (half your fighting die value plus 2).
Brindy's knife skids down tough skin leaving a cut in Mary's blouse.
OOC:

Init:
Charlotte
Brindy
Mary
Yngwie

Deck Draws

2 of Spades

OOC:
No worries Lux is up btw.
Apr 10, 2019 6:08 pm
OOC:
Lux has stated IRL is bogging her down so to fast forward the combat.
Charlotte having gotten up from her last shot stands in the doorway and yells in frustration to Mary about how her house is tacky, how she looks ugly, and how the place looks like a slasher movie cheap vacation home with fake mounted fish on the wall.

A bug flies in Charlotte's face before she starts to really lay into Mary and she flails not wanting to swallow it.

Rolls

Taunt - (1d6, RA)

(1) = 1

Widl Taunt - (1d6, RA)

(1) = 1

Apr 10, 2019 6:31 pm
OOC:
I think Brindy is up
Brindy is getting tired, she isn't used to stabbing so much. Once or twice, sure, that's a Saturday night. But this is getting pathological. Still, she feints a couple times quickly, then stabs downward, psycho style, at Aunt Mary's clavicle.

Rolls

Stabbing, Wild - (1d6, 1d6, RA)

1d6 : (4) = 4

1d6 : (2) = 2

damage, just in case - (1d4, 1d4, RA)

1d4 : (1) = 1

1d4 : (43) = 7

Apr 11, 2019 1:34 pm
OOC:
Since Mary hasn't gone she's still at parry of 4, don't forget you're at a +1 though due to Yngqie next to you.
Brindy connects again with her knife but doesn't seem to do enough damage but distracts her.
OOC:
For those playing the number meta game Parry is 6 (TN to hit) and her toughness is 8 (TN to wound, you'll need to beat her toughness by 4 to get a wound on her (shaken at 8, 1st wound at 12))
Mary tries to shake off the attack and counter attack besides just defending.

She lashes out at Yngwie again wildly.
OOC:
Wild attack give +2 to roll to hit and damage -2 to parry. Plus she has a wound I think.
OOC:
Y's toughness is 5 so 5>9>13 shaken with 2 wounds if you'd like to soak use a bennie.

Rolls

Spirit to unshake w/ wound - (1d8+1, RA)

(85) + 1 = 14

Wild to unshake - (1d6+1, RA)

(5) + 1 = 6

Wild attack on Y - (1d8+1, RA)

(5) + 1 = 6

Wild die for roll - (1d6+1, RA)

(4) + 1 = 5

Damage on Y - (1d6, 1d8+2, RA)

1d6 : (1) = 1

1d8+2 : (83) + 2 = 13

Akk, well my luck had to run out eventually. I'll use a bennie to soak. Does that soak both wounds or just one, and how many bennies do I have? Also, I've got this edge:

Berserk:
Smarts roll or go Berserk after being wounded; +2 Fighting and Strength rolls, -2 Parry,
+2 Toughness; Roll of 1 on Fighting die hits random adjacent target

So, I'm guessing even if the wounds are soaked, there's still a possibility of going berserk here? Rolling smarts if that's the case.

Rolls

Berserk (not a smart boi) - (1d4, RA)

(3) = 3

Apr 11, 2019 3:45 pm
OOC:
You'd first resolve the soak roll, you started with 3 bennies so if you haven't used one you have three left. Roll your Vigor die and a wild die. Take the best result, TN 4 you soak one wound (you'll have 1 wound and be shaken), TN 8 soaks both wounds (you'll have no wounds and not be shaken). After the results you'd be 'wounded' and you'd roll your wild die in addition to the smart's roll you've already done. If you're wounded still there may be a -1 or -2 to the smarts roll.

Short version: roll Vigor and a d6. Depending on the result possibly roll a d6 and subtract from that result plus your smarts roll depending on wounds.
Apr 11, 2019 4:11 pm
Awesome, thanks. (This is such a crunchy system.)

OK, 5, so that's one wound.

3 for smarts on both rolls, so with the -1 that's a 2 on that roll. Not sure what the TN was there. More than 2 I'm guessing?
