OOC:
TN was 4, yep you're shaken with one wound and both rolls have a result of 2 total. You're at -1 to all checks now plus shaken until you unshaken. You're turn now, roll your spirit -1 on that die plus a wild die (also at -1) if you unshaken you can act, if you don't succeed but want to act spend a bennie. When you're shaken all you can do is move about.
Apr 11, 2019 8:10 pm
OK, here we go then.

4 good enough to throw off shaken?

Rolls

Unshake (Spirit) - (1d6-1, RA)

(1) - 1 = 0

Unshake (Wild) - (1d6-1, RA)

(5) - 1 = 4

OOC:
Yep have at the melee besides berserk don't forget your gang up bonus.
Apr 12, 2019 2:04 pm
OK, so that that's:
+1 gang up
+2 wild attack
+2 berserk
For both attack and damage.

Yngwie, having been slashed by the creature, starts attacking like a wild cornered animal, roaring like a beast, he just hits her over and over again, ignoring the pain.

Rolls

Attack - (1d8+5, RA)

(6) + 5 = 11

Attack (wild) - (1d6+5, RA)

(3) + 5 = 8

Damage - (1d8+5, RA)

(7) + 5 = 12

Damage (wild) - (1d6+5, RA)

(2) + 5 = 7

Extra 1d6 roll - (1d6, RA)

(3) = 3

OOC:
Yep you hit with a raise so it's be your strength plus the improve weapon plus a d6 from the raise. You've rolled a d8+d6, but the +would be 4 total from (Berserk & Wild Attack at +2 each). So 13+1d6 result.
Apr 23, 2019 11:58 am
OOC:
Was waiting on the extra 1d6 to add to the 13 damage.
The male member of the trio puts the beatdown on Aunt Mary.

Rolls

Soak attempt since it's 2 wounds - (1d8, 1d6, RA)

1d8 : (5) = 5

1d6 : (1) = 1

Apr 23, 2019 12:13 pm
Aunt Marie wails about still taking damage.
OOC:
Marie's at 2 wounds so -2 to everything on checks, Y's at -1 I think from his wound.
Init:
Char
Bri
Yng
Marie

Deck Draws

Draw CBYM

Oh, crap sorry. I misunderstood.
Apr 26, 2019 1:06 pm
OOC:
No worries, Lux is up first, actually you're all up before Mary.
Apr 30, 2019 3:14 am
Brindy, tired of stabbing, takes to slashing. "I don't think we're doing anything this way!"
OOC:
Rolling now, since we're all up before the invincible zombie

Rolls

Stabbing, Wild - (1d6, 1d6, RA)

1d6 : (3) = 3

1d6 : (1) = 1

Damage+Str - (1d4, 1d4, RA)

1d4 : (2) = 2

1d4 : (3) = 3

OOC:
You're at +1 from the gang up bonus so it's enough to hit, don't get through the toughness though.
Brindy grabs a hold of Mary's shirt and slashes her with her stabbing hand. It nicks tough leather skin making her feel a bit discouraged.
OOC:
No worries. I'll throw up an action for Charlotte also to move things along.
Unsure about how much good shooting will do and yelling seemed to start working Charlotte opts to try something different she's not really good at while Mary's distracted...

She thinks Mary doesn't notice her.
OOC:
Charlotte's next action if melee will get a +2 gang up bonus plus she'll have 'Getting the drop' on Mary which is +4 to attack/Damage if you don't have the book, and if a wild attack is used that's be +8to hit and +6 to damage so that would probably drop her... do we need to do an OoC topic on combat possibly? Mostly I figure this is honestly how teenagers would act in a Wednesday Thursday Friday moment like this though.
OOC:
Cato you're up I think.

Rolls

Stealth Check untrained - (1d4-2, 1d6-2, RA)

1d4-2 : (1) - 2 = -1

1d6-2 : (5) - 2 = 3

Mary's notice - (1d8-2, 1d6-2, RA)

OOC:
Aye, an OCC thread covering combat mechanics would probably be a good idea. I'm still not really understanding this system at least.
Yngwie agrees completely with Brindy, but doesn't see any alternatives, "Yeah! Well, you got a better plan?" Keeping the creature's focus on him still seems like an OK plan to him, best he's got in any case.
OOC:

Same set up as before:
+1 gang up
+2 wild attack
+2 berserk
It's got to work eventually.

Rolls

Attack - (1d8+5, RA)

(6) + 5 = 11

Attack (wild) - (1d6+5, RA)

(5) + 5 = 10

Damage - (1d8+5, RA)

(1) + 5 = 6

Damage (wild) - (1d6+5, RA)

(1) + 5 = 6

OOC:
Ok, I'll write something up for questions and roll everything up into a spoiler in the first post. Also your damage bonus status would be +4 total not 5 and it's be once. You definitely hit but you did 1d8+2d6+4 for a total of 11 damage.
Yngwie shakes Mary with his violent actions but she's still up before she attacks him back slashing into his chest.
OOC:
That's enough to wound you. If you wanted to soak and you have a bennie left you can do so. I'll have Mary go after you decide if you'll soak or not (if not you're shaken and penalty would be at -2 to all checks (not damage).
OOC:
Next round init
Marry
Yngwie
Brindy
Charlotte

Rolls

Normal fighting attack - (1d8, 1d6, RA)

1d8 : (4) = 4

1d6 : (4) = 4

Damage - (2d8, RA)

(54) = 9

Deck Draws

BCYM
7 of Clubs
6 of Diamonds
8 of Spades
10 of Spades
Apr 30, 2019 7:48 pm
No, I'll take the wound, probably need to start looking into a better plan here.
May 1, 2019 12:09 pm
Yngwie breaths roughly as Marry's clawlike fingers rake into his chest ripping his closest and flesh in the process before a mouth with no cheeks opens attempting to latch onto his shoulder.
OOC:
Just noticed I put the wrong dice for damage last time but it didn't change anything. That's be a third wound and shaken unless you'd like to soak. Next wound will incapacitate (Incap) you or knock you out. If you'd like to use a bennie again if you have em feel free if you like. Her Parry is back up to 6 and Toughness is 8 if that'll speed things along.

Rolls

Normal attack - (1d8, 1d6, RA)

1d8 : (85) = 13

1d6 : (3) = 3

Retcon actual damage from last attack - (1d8, 1d6, RA)

1d8 : (6) = 6

1d6 : (5) = 5

Damage from this attack which will possibly hurt. - (1d8, 2d6, RA)

1d8 : (2) = 2

2d6 : (43) = 7

May 1, 2019 5:22 pm
Hmm, I think I'll just be shaken, kind of forcing us to move along with a different strategy I think.
May 1, 2019 6:25 pm
OOC:
Last round would have been only one wound even though even though the damage was different, this round 9 damage would shake you and wound you again so you're at shaken with 3 wounds, next would knocks you out. If you're not soaking it's your turn so lets get a shaken check (roll your spirit -3 and wild die at -3) to see if you can act.
May 1, 2019 8:25 pm
Rolling...

Rolls

Spirit - (1d6-3, RA)

(2) - 3 = -1

Wild - (1d6-3, RA)

(6662) - 3 = 17

May 1, 2019 8:25 pm
*blink*

(Why can I roll like that when I'm attacking...)
May 2, 2019 11:40 am
OOC:
Exploding die are like cats they do what they want. You're definitely able to attack, with the gangup if you wild attack the bonus would be (Gang up +1 till Charlotte comes over, +2 Wild if you wild attack, +2 Beserk, -3 from wounds, so +2 to attack (TN is 6 again) and if you hit +4 damage to your dice (TN 8 needed).)
