Vikent kills the lead wolf as it was laying unable to defend itself. Cuon is up.

Cuon takes aim at the third of the wolves as the lead goes down. Concentrating our offense onto them helps reduce the risk of serious damage to the rest of his party and he's of the opinion that the wolves have done more than enough damage already. The runes glow and he fires a magic bolt forward once more.

Cuon's magic bolt flies gracefully through the air and pierces the wolf through the eye and he instantly drops to the snow. A puddle of red starts growing from it's head.

Die, you foul beasts! Vikent launches into a series of feints, spinning on the hard crusted snow. Skidding past the beast, he jams both swords into the remaining wolf's flank.

The last remaining wolf is cut almost in two by Vikent's blade. It collapses and a pool of red flows from it's lifeless form.

Kicsi will recover her wolf skin and both of her darts. Still staggered from her wounds she stands straight up, puts her arms straight out to her side, and falls back into the snow. "Ugh. I could use a bit of a rest after that!" she blurts out, staring at the sky.

Cuon sets up his bow and looks around, critically. "Are these beasts common to the region?" He looks around at his colleagues, curious if any of them have better information than he on the frozen tundra.

Tethys walks up to Vikent and lays a hand on the worst of his wounds spreading healing energy through his body. He then tries to think of anything he may know of the habits of Winter Wolves.

Tosher walks back and recovers his tossed shield, slinging it over his back with his axe. Those wolves were pretty spry. Quick movers, he reasons as he checks his wounds. A rest may be a good thing, so long as we have fire for warmth, otherwise you can find yourself quickly fatigued out here in the cold.
He looks over to Kicsi, That fur can only keep you warm for so long around here, pup.

Kicsi grunts in acknowledgment to Tosher's observation, but doesn't make a move to get off of the snow. "Not sure there's much wood to be found around here... Anyone got anything that will burn for a while??"

The snow storm lets up and you can see quite a ways in front of you. It looks like white as far as the eye can see, just snow and ice.

"I have heard stories, I think, of homes made of snow and ice. Perhaps if we could craft something that would keep us with air to breathe, we could have smaller quarters that would be less easy to spot from a distance and might be tight enough that our own warmth will keep us alive while you heal?" Cuon is uninjured, but not deaf to the needs of his battered colleagues.
