OOC:

Damage is simply the successes. Note: your sword adds 3 dice, and you subtract dice for the targets Defense of 3, which in this case doesn't change your roll. However, you are attacking while totally concealed, so this grants another +2 dice, if you want to roll those.

Stepan strikes from the darkness, hitting for 2 Lethal. That close he can smell the rot which makes his eyes water.

Dragomir fires his bow into the cellar, but misses.

The creature turns and not setting Stepan, leaps from the cellar, grabbing the floor and climbing out with a mighty shove, into the pantry, striking at Dragomir, who takes 3 Lethal.

Each of you are up.

Dragomir staggers back and curses aloud. He spends the action nocking another arrow.

It takes an action to reload a bow, according to the books.

As a reminder, I still have Armor 3, if that matters.

Did Babushka want her familiar to act? If so, roll for it.1 dice (4 less 3 defense for a physical attack) plus two dice for every Essence it spends (a modified Blast power).

Stepan have struck the abomination twice and tries to get a estimat if have been futile and he has to try something else or keep at it. Can any one unravel that kind of flesh magic?

Stepan hits the creature with its swordcane, (for one lethal damage).

Babushka, focusing on the spirit plane...

Qralloq sent a note to The_Librarian

Dragomir knocks another arrow.

Kolya's magic helps close wounds.

The falcon screeches add it comes in for a claw attack, but the creature spoons out of the way, barely avoiding it.

It turns around, seeing itself surrounded, and then simply drops to the ground in a pile of meat and bone, like a puppet with its strings cut.

Combat is over.

What do you do?

Something or someone has altered the gauntlet here. I don't like it. She adjusts her head scarf and thanks her familiar as she makes her pronouncement to the group.

Dragomir exhales and stows the arrow, then loops the bow back over his shoulder. He rubs his chest and nods to Kolya.

"I owe you a bottle of uzvar."

He climbs down into the cellar and begins looking around.
