Cart was still looking for an outlet valve below them, even as he pressed against the gate he ran towards, he checked to see if he could squeeze through the gap between the bars, or if any of them were rusty enough to break open.

Brett looks to the grooves Will mentioned, and watches as Will boldly(or foolishly) holds on to them. Maybe I could also help out with this. Brett thought as he faces the multicorder down at the grooves to see the chains, while bringing his other hand near to but not touching the chains. The hand will not be in view of the recording.

The gates continue to press in. The troubleshooters are able to slow down the gates but the thin layer of sludge on every surface makes it difficult to get a good enough grip to stop the gates completely. The gates are now 10' apart.

The gates slow down to a grind as they press in on the Troubleshooters. Elbows smash into faces; knees smoosh into spines. Will's whole hand goes outside the gate. Just as the Troubleshooters are certain that they cannot resist another ounce of pressure and are going to be pressed into flattened foodstuff.

The gates click to a halt.

An incredibly dirty person in a Troubleshooter uniform approaches. She holds the gate control in one hand and in the other, she has an ice gun trained on the three of you. Her uniform is so filthy, she almost appears to be Brown clearance. She reminds you a walking muck sponge.

She pushes a button on the control and the gates spread apart 2 feet. Uncrushing the team, but keeping them cramped and trapped. Brett has a broken rib. Will's hand breaks free.

She looks down at the control and is about to push another button when a thought occurs to her...
