Silver Star - Cafe Car

With eyes widening in fear at the sight of the man he just watched shrug off his shot marching towards him, the Russian hastily brought his pistol to bear to send a shot well wide of the glaring FBI agent. Wary of hitting their own, other shots --both shotgun and pistol -- plastered the train car's windows and sidewall. Whereas before Dozer felt like he got punch in the ribs, he suddenly felt what could only be described as a baseball bat smacking into his side, taking his breath away.

Using the cover afforded by the advancing soldier, Beatrice dove into a booth, taking a few calming breaths to mentally recover before preparing to back up Dozer.

"HRRrrrrr," Dozer grunted from the blow, "Haaaaa."

Speed switching shoulders, Dozer fired a burst at the shotgun thug next to the snack bar, dipped his rifle out of the reaching hands of the pistol thug in melee, back onto his right shoulder, and fired again..."C'mon," Dozer growled through gritted teeth, "If you want this, I gotta make me BLEED!!"

Growling a challenge to the Russian beside the bar, Dozer efficiently switched his aim and fired. The gunman jerked twice from the impacts and fell back, slumping to a sitting position on the floor.

With practiced ease, the veteran soldier adjusted his rifle and fired at a second gunman, catching the burly goon in the shoulder and sending him falling back with a grunt, though still in the fight.

Hearing her new found ally in trouble, Bea hurdled the snack bar to find refuge behind some of the kitchen equipment has she fired one of the Russian gangsters further down the car. The bullet impacted the booth's seat back in a puff of foam.

Unappreciative of her trying to take him out the goon returned fire, to no effect. The others didn't fare much better, as shotgun shot and bullets sailed harmlessly wide of Dozer before the thug he was engaged with cried out in pain, lurching forward. The rifle-toting FBI agent could see the telltale mark of a shotgun blast on the Russian's shoulder. The Russian turned to glare at his comrade, some rather unflattering Russian remarks getting hurled his allies way.

As the bleeding Russian returned the friendly fire with unfriendly remarks, Dozer punctuated it with more rifle fire, first trying to finish the grunting burly goon, then the one in front of cold storage.

Puffs of cloth and foam flew as Dozer returned fire, blasting the seat backs. Laughing, the large Russian continued hurling insults and banged on his massive chest. His amusement was short lived, the mocking laughs turning to rage full shouts as Beatrice caught him in the shoulder. Eyes wide with malice he then turned his attention towards her just as her second shot took him head, dropping him to the floor in a spray of red.

Shot pelted the side of the car near Dozer to the report of shotguns. The goon engaged with the grizzled agent pushed his pistol out, shoving it in the agent's face. Smiling in triumph the Russian pulled the trigger click ... pulling the pistol back he stared at it in disbelief.

Rolling his eyes, Dozer brought his rifle up, and touched the end of the barrel against the thug's head. As it had been recently fired, it was hot to the touch, and Dozer could see some burn marks as the thug reeled back from the pain.Leaning, Dozer fired a burst at the guy in front of cold storage.

Hope I don't breach it. I'd hate for the food to go to waste.

Then Dozer turned to the thug in front of him, the Russian just barely pulling his hand from his forehead, and fired into his gut...

"Oy der'mo," the Russian goon bellowed as he pawed at his neck and feeling Dozer's pointed brand. With the thug out of the way, the FBI agent leaned forward and fired a burst at one of the Russians at the far end. The goon flinched three times and fell back into the cold storage only to disappear to the floor. Flaying about, the gunmen currently involved with Dozer managed to push the business end of the rifle out of the way and sent a round burying it's way into the seat. Smiling at his good fortune the thug opened his mouth to say an undoubtedly smart mouthed comment before a vaulting Bea jabbed him in the throat. He let out a cough as his eyes rolled up into his head and he slumped to the seat.

Seeing he no longer had the advantage, the other and only remaining thug quickly moved into the next car. What seemed like a lot of time was over in 30 seconds and by Dozer's experienced internal clock they still had 4 and a half minutes.

Dozer let out a sigh. Slapping his vest to get some shell pellets off, he gave a cough.

"Alright, this should be the last stretch," he said, pulling out another fresh magazine, "Not going to waste any more time. We're going in."

Reloading, he headed for the next door.

"Stack up for breach."

Dozer quirked a goofy face.

"Well shucks. I brought rubber bullets so I could spray down the car and call it a day."

He then shrugged in a Well DUH sort of way.

Silver Star - First Class Car

"Chto delayesh," an irrate Yakov, the Russian boss, bellowed as the train car door opened to admit one of his mafia soldiers.

"FBR idet," the underling replied, concern evident on his face.

"Do not let them through," he commanded with an empathic point of his finger before disappearing into the far berth.

"I told you not to antagonize the FBI," he growled to the man hovering over a laptop, "Hurry up!"

"The satellite will not be in range for another 3-4 minutes," he whined, "You will have to hold them off."

Yakov's gripped tightened on his pistol, his eyes drifting from the weapon to the computer hacker and back as he momentarily thought about shooting Kevin and just cutting his losses. With a frustrated grunt and a last look of contempt for the computer geek he stuck his head out and called for his companion to join him, directing the gunman to take a position just inside the sleeping berth.

With his experience and squad tactics Dozer took charge, taking the opportunity to reload and shake out his tac vest. Urging them forward and painfully aware of the dwindling time as Beatrice reloaded and cautioned against potential hostages and their HVT to which Dozer in what had become his typical fashion had a witty quip to offer.

Stacking up to either side of the door the pair prepared to move ...

Dozer paused before hitting the door open button.

"I might say some weird things in there in a minute," he said to Beatrice, "Don't worry, there's a reason, just roll with it."

He then hit the button, and brought his rifle up, ready to start clearing each room if he had to...

Silver Star - Forward First Class Car

As the door slid aside the booming report of a Winchester reverberated through the tight confines of the train car, blasting the door jamb that Dozer was using for cover and showering him with debris, the grizzled war vet just catching a glimpse of the shot's source as a rifle disappeared into one of the far first class berths. Barely a shadow, the Russian goon was using the door jamb for cover.

"Hey!" Dozer shouted, bringing his rifle up, carefully aiming down the sight, before squeezing a round off, "Wait your turn!"In the wake of the return shot, Dozer yelled, hopefully for a certain somebody to hear, "Hey Peeeeee-taaaaaaa! It's the FBIIIIIIII! Been taking good care of our dawwwg?!"

The perfectly aimed shot caught the Russian gunman in the small sliver of shoulder that was visible, causing the rifle barrel's aim to fall to floor as a hand came up to grip the shoulder with a grunt ... before recovering and taking up position in the door frame again.
