Amid the chaos on deck, some semblance of order seems to be taking shape. A hulking half-orc takes charge, screaming commands at the unruly crew.
"Reef th' sails! HARD A-STARBOARD! Then fire at will! See how they likes it! Scupper 'em EL'MENTALS!"
The Strumpet turns hard, risking capsizing as it lists crazily, then unleashes a broadside at the Kestrel
(26 damage)! A battle cry goes up from the scallywags as they now seem to have a fighting chance. They come at Zale and his elemental again with cutlasses, hooks, boarding axes, pistols, anything that's handy!
(Zale takes no hits. Z-Elemental is hit for 8 damage after DR)
Jineer quickly finds the powder magazine in the lower deck, just above the bilge, by following the "powder monkeys" shuttling back and forth with bags of powder to deliver to the gunners. The gunnery officer in charge of the operation is a red dragonborn (whose dumb idea was that?!) wearing drenched clothing to prevent spark in this all-too-incendiary environment.
"Shake a leg, lads! Step to it!" the dragonborn roars, as he shovels powder into the bags.

A-Elemental is up. It could have ridden Nela's wave along with the other elemental if Astrias wants it to fight on deck, or it could have stayed in the water to continue pounding on the hull.
