"Go get the others! That way!" Zale directs Nela towards the hillfolk's village before running where Nela pointed.

Nela casts cure wounds spell level 4 upon herself. Clears up much of the battering she took to make herself presentable with now 20 HP of her normal 51 HP.

OOC:
I did that once in a competition game, i knew i wasnt gonna make it so i begged the GM for feather fall, and i even asked the other tables. He said it i got a Nat 20 then there was a chance of survival... 8... so i turnt just in time to do a nice dive :D

OOC:
Ian has 48hp left. 1d6 falling damage is nothing compared to the clobbering he'll probably get sticking around!

OOC:
2d6 or 3 depends on how much of a jeark you be

Jabes.plays.RPG says:
OOC:
Climb down 25ft through difficult terrain... yeah, a Cunning Action Dash will get you on the ground and 10ft away from this thing. Unfortunately still within its 15ft reach, but you definitely have a chance.

Alternatively you could drop 25 feet, take the 1d6 damage, and run like crazy.
OOC:
The second option will get you to safety unless the thing moves. If you choose this, then please roll your falling damage (1d6).

Having freed himself of the constricting vines, Ian drops to the forest floor in a desperate bid to escape. He hears a bone snap when he hits the ground, (2 bludgeoning damage) but he fights through the pain and sprints away from the murderous tree. He runs into Zale, who helps him limp into the hillfolk settlement. Nela is already there, telling Jack and the rest about the creature in the forest that killed Shine and Domare.
OOC:
Combat is over!

Status:
Monster Plant: Zero damage taken.
Ian: 46/75hp.
Nela: 3/51hp.
Shine: 0/59p. DEAD.
Domare: 0/1hp. DEAD.

"A tree blight," the hillfolk murmur. "Come to think of it, maybe that's how the Coven keeps the Silverbacks away. But we've never seen one that close to our village!"

Three moons have now risen: two full, and one waxing gibbous.

"You're beat up pretty bad. Are you really trying to rescue Lena tonight? Maybe you folks should rest up first."
Jun 15, 2019 5:39 pm
Nela smiles, I could use some rest for sure. She looks better at 20 HP than 3 HP, but still lacking.

I guess that I missed early discussions. The baby Lena needs to be rescued? She listens and gets caught back up.
Jun 15, 2019 5:58 pm
Aye..a rest would be good
Jun 16, 2019 2:34 am
Grog lets out a very large yawn.

"...Grog..."
Jun 16, 2019 2:47 am
"I don't want to leave Lena in the hags' possession for even another minute, but a night sortie into unknown territory with two wounded would be incredibly stupid." Zale says, shaking his head. The genasi takes a long drink from his flask to help him think. "I want to at least scout the hut. Anyone want to come with?"
OOC:
Zale scouts the hut even if he has to do it alone.

Rolls

Stealth - (1d20+6)

(17) + 6 = 23

Perception - (1d20+6)

(15) + 6 = 21

I would but I'm really not up to it right now. I has been a hard day for me. Nela really just wants to rest.
