Meanwhile, Nela breathes a little easier (2 successful death saves). Zale, on the other hand, slips closer to oblivion (2 failed death saves).

Duplineer walks over to Nela on the ground, kneels down and casts "Cure Wounds". Real Jineer pulls out her Dagger and stares down the Weresharktuar.

OOC:
Back to Grog, who is still Raging but has been tossed in the water, is suffering 1 level of Exhaustion, and has been Viciously Mocked by Magda (Disadvantage on next attack roll).
Sep 18, 2019 12:58 am
After having been tossed aside from the solid footing into the water, and being mocked horribly, the nearly bloodied dwarf's head breaks through the surface of the water. Bubbles stream out from his nose that's still beneath the water in his anger. His face goes flush with hot blood as he flies once more into a frenzy! (A dangerous action to be sure!)
Javelin in hand, Grog swims his way over to the hag to try and make some Swiss witch!
OOC:
Attacks are as needed, but in regards to the pearl, I imagine it requires attunement, right?

Rolls

1d6+6 : (2) + 6 = 8

(1) + 6 = 7

Sep 18, 2019 6:26 pm
OOC:
No advantage on first attack (disadvantage from Vicious Mockery cancels Rage advantage).
Battle Music

Magda is fully prepared for Grog's frenzied assault. His first strike is just plain off, while the second pierces the hag's shoulder, but she uses the mewling baby Lena to bat aside the enraged dwarf's third attack! (8 damage) Magda retaliates by raking hr claws across Grog's chest!
Magda claws vs. Grog (AC 16) 1d20+6, 2d8+4

Lilith creates another seaweed simulacrum, this time in the shape of the weresharkotaur! You now realize that unless you take her out once and for all, the grandmother hag is going to keep cranking these things out and throwing them at you!

With a bestial bellow of rage, the seaweed weresharkotaur gores Nela with its electrified horns, almost killing the doctor where she stands! (16 piercing damage + 3 lightning damage) The monster then turns around and snaps its jaws at Jineer! With a warding gesture, Manybeards reveals her true face, but the distraction fails to deter the monster, which takes a big bite out of her! (Unsettling Visage couldn't stop the nat-20! 24 damage. CON save vs. Lycanthropy: SUCCESS!)

In a stunning twist, Valrakas turns around and charges his seaweed double! It seems Magda doesn't have full control over the raging captain, who is obviously mighty pissed at being duplicated! Lightning arcs between the two horned combatants, but both seem almost impervious to it! Valrakas gores and bites, knocking the simulacrum backwards, then hits it again and again, but obviously they are equally matched! (1 lightning + 12 piercing, Valrakas wins shoving contest, 8 bite + 6 horns + 7 bite)

Lilith finally reveals herself by yelling and cursing at Magda.

OOC:
Your turn! Everyone topside may take Opportunity Attacks vs. Valrakas as he drives the Simulacrum back. The two weresharkotaurs are currently in knee-deep water near the submerged part of the deck. 30ft beyond them, in the water, is Lilith. Nela is down to 1 hp. Phillip and Zale still have death saves to make. Zale is a failure away from dying.
Sep 18, 2019 8:52 pm
The newly revealed Changeling stabs Valrakas with her dagger in the back as he moves to push the simulacrum. (Opportunity Attack)

She takes a quick step back before nodding to duplineer and they both rush the Captain with an outstretched hand.

Nela who was just now ripped badly by the fake seaweed Cap, is so glad to see it pushed out of her way by the real Were-Cap so she can cast and move safely. That's my CAP! She now turns her attention to poor Zale. With a word she pulls strength from the sea around her and heals Zale for 11 HP. Then with her dear 1 HP she moves to just inside the downed ship to at least get out of sight a second. There she transforms to her more beastly look.
OOC:
Action cast Healing Word on Zale for 11 HP, Move action up to 40' to get inside downed ship to achieve getting out of physical sight. She isn't normally slowed by difficult terrain (Land's Stride), Bonus Action Shifting and gains Temporary 9 HP for 10 rounds.
OOC:
Question: I know that Nela has 9 goodberry on her. Is she able to cram the handful in her now larger beastly mouth and swallow them?
OOC:
Question: Nela normally has advantage on saves from plants or even magical plants "Land's Stride". Smiles. Does the dear seaweed fake Cap qualify for that?

Still steaming with anger, but remembering a new 'toy' that looked fun, Grog will disengage from Magda, throw his javelin in hand at the sea hag, and attempt to retrieve the axe that his doppelganger wielded.

Rolls

Javelin Atk(Ranged, Bonus Action) - (1d20+5, 1d6+4)

1d20+5 : (12) + 5 = 17

1d6+4 : (1) + 4 = 5

Savage Attacker - (1d6+4)

(1) + 4 = 5

Sep 19, 2019 9:21 am
OOC:
That axe is on the deck of the wreck. To get to it, you'd have to move past the two weresharkotaurs. Maybe if you yelled for it, someone could toss it to you with their free object interaction ;-)
Sep 20, 2019 1:21 am
"Grog axe! Give axe Grog!" he calls out to anyone still up on deck.
Sep 20, 2019 2:06 am
OOC:
Damn, that's a real complex sentence coming from Grog! XD

The only one topside who hasn't acted yet is Jack. Pretty safe to assume he'll toss Grog the axe. He's dual wielding, so doesn't actually have a free hand, but screw it!
