Nebula says:
1. About the temple, can we see from which god it's or it's too dark?
It's not too dark, but in the narrative I had you three looking for Olpert to check in, so you didn't go into the Temple to see. If you want to look around after you've checked in, you'll easily be able to retrace your steps there.
Nebula says:
2. Is it ok if Arya present to the DB boss a letter of introduction from her temple/high priest as well? I thought that usually cleric carry with them their credential, as there's many fraud in the world. Just roleplay, i don't expect it to do anything except connect with the NPC.
Sure, that's exactly the kind of thing I expect players to post while interacting with an NPC.

Thanks.

Edit: I can see that you'd already done both of these things before I responded! Brava! That'll teach me to post before checking all the threads!

The bard Jonbon is still in prison right? Who captured him?

Jonbon is in a holding cell in Hochoch; he hasn't had a trial yet (that's waiting on the Reeve to show up, which will happen sometime within the month).
As to who captured him, the short answer is the Dungeon Busters. The specific answer is that it was Ogbar and Aanbo who caught up to the wagon as the minstrel was taking the drugged Jarl family east and beat him down. They then took the victims and their captive back to the Jarl farm, where they met with Xana, Durren, and Quest. Quest and Durren took turns watching Jonbon, who was tied up in the Jarls' barn, and the next day the four heroes (Quest left early) took the kidnapper back to Hochoch. He's been in custody waiting for his trial ever since.

Hey, dumb question but it's been a while... we found our actual missing gear, didn't we?

I admit, I didn't want to go page by page to try and dlmake sure, and figured one of the other players might remember.

Yes, the cultists tried to plant your gear near you with the corpse of the man who'd been tortured to death, in order to pin that crime on the party when the posse arrived. You grabbed it quick and then split up.

I thought so. Thank you.

Sorry I wasn't online a few days. I got sick and, as a rule, I don't access GP outside of work. Weird I know.

Please what is the best regional map for the campaign where we can see where Hochoch and Orlane fit in the world?

Thanks

I like Mike Schley's maps. Here is his map of Hochoch, and there is an inset which references nearby locations; Orlane is labeled "F" and is east of the town. The caveat is that I don't know if N1 follows the same map, but it's at least useful for reference.

As for where Hochoch is in the Greyhawk world, we're on the western part of the world map between Geoff and Gran March.

Wow. Nice maps.

Thanks, that a great map.

The world map is good to give you a rough estimate of where nations are in relationship to one another. But know that Orlane, Hochoch, and Hookhill are actually in a roughly straight line - which is Cecily's Road - and both Orlane and Hochoch abut the same river, the Realstream.

The Hochoch map is nice. It is clearly heavily-inspired by the map of Phlan from the Forgotten Realms (and originally from the "Pool of Radiance" video game), which is a fun call-out. I know no one is suggesting we are using this Hochoch map, but I will point out that it incorrectly portrays a riverport city rather than the much-smaller market town that Hochoch is (at least in this module; maybe Hochoch grows into a metropolis over the course of later Greyhawk history).

I drew the map of Hochoch that we're using for this game when I started it; I haven't been able to go back and re-ink it yet simply because I cannot find it!

Yeah, that's why I added the caveat that the map(s) may not be 100% relevant to our game. Schley's maps are obviously very recent and may not reflect the context of N1, either through lore or just artistic license.

Also not sure if this regional map fits with the exact geography in this game (I suspect not, given the Dim Forest’s distance to Orlane), but Anna B Meyers’ GH maps are highly appreciated by the fandom.
