Deleting polls

I was trying out using polls which worked nicely :)
However, when I tried to make another one two things happened:
1) If I re-wrote it, it basically adds the new options to the old poll
2) If I select Delete Poll: If checked, your poll will be deleted and cannot be recovered, I get the blank page https://gamersplane.com/forums/process/post/ and nothing really happens.

Any idea if this is a bug or there is a secret to it?

You can only have one poll per thread; if you need another poll, it'd need to be a new thread. As for deleting, sounds like a bug.

ok. I was trying to delete so I could rephrase it :)
The idea was to update the poll based on peoples suggestions and reactions

Which thread is it in? There's permissions for that, I think. Let me make sure I've allowed them there.

Maybe the idea is that you should make a new thread.

Ah, yah, this is by design. My thought was that if you have a poll but then it gets changed, the previous results are basically invalidated. Maybe the poll system overall needs to be rethought.

ok. I'll suggest the work around of copy/pasting the thread and make a new poll then ;)

(works for me because it is still small)
