General OOC Content

For those who frequent your PC on DND Beyond, I wanted to ask if you have any issue with me modifying your character name. I am going to pre-pend the name with a GSM_. I am doing this because, if you have not yet seen, I am using the campaign for two different games. Yours and my Gigantic Adventures game.

It is just to keep the characters identified by game.

Totally cool with me! Do whatever you need to do with my Beyond sheet its all good :)

FYI, Squadfather44 tapped out. He is too busy at work. I've invited another player, so we should be filled by the AM. Once I get the new book in hand, I'll work on your individual story threads. Each of you will start out separately somewhere in the world and I will (hopefully) slowly bring you all together.

So please get your PC info complete, including backstory, descriptions, etc. So if you finally wind up meeting, I'll know how to describe you to everyone else. :)

Sorry for the dry spell. A busy work-week followed by the long weekend here in the states... let's move this story along today, shall we? :)

I want to note that I modified a couple of your initial posts. I oops and said that Brewfest was the festival when it should have been Growfest.... nothing major, just a completely different time of year, is all... :/

No sweat. School let out Thursday, so I was enjoying a long weekend with my daughter (not to rub it in or anything). I've spent far too much time at work trying to catch up with other games.

I was expecting a reaction more along these lines.

I'm heading out of town tomorrow morning to hang out with a friend from Australia I haven't seen in almost 30 years, so my posting will be spotty, at best.

Heh, never played a character that was quite so much of a narcissistic jerk before but I'm finding it surprisingly fun.

I managed to survive the weekend only a little worse for wear. I have found that I can still put away the drinks when the need arises, it's the recovery that has suffered from age. I'll get a post up by tonight.

I've always heard that turmeric helps prevent hangovers.

No worries, weekends are pretty slow. I'll be catching the game up tonight, after work.

It wasn't so much the hangover, though there was that, it was the late nights. One I can usually do with no problem. It's two nights that's the killer. I'm just glad I played video games before the drinking started. I don't think I could have handled all the noise at the world's largest arcade the day after.
