Pong swings his flail and it smashes into the floor beside the centipede.

Eshe swings her axe and slices one of the centipedes in half.

Lucan sends a bolt of fire at the centipede, but misses, scorching the wall of the home, but thankfully not lighting it up.

Margot's mental attack is totally ignored by the centipede.

Sobek's first bite crushes the centipede, but he discovers that he can't fit two of them into his mouth at once.

The last remaining centipede apparently decides that you're not worth the trouble and turns around and heads back into the hole it crawled out of.

I know I was a believer to start with but we've been here for half-an-hour and the "crazy ghost" has yet to show himself. I'm getting a little bit sick of picking bug guts off of my rapier. Terry says, as he picks bug guts off of his rapier.

Let's try the other wing. door Terry opens the door to what he can only assume to be a pantry.

Terry opens the door on the east wall. This room displays the effects of damp and decay more than most. Mold grows in patches on the floor, walls, and ceiling. A large copper cask, split, discolored and empty, stands under the window, with a small heap of crockery shards on the floor beside it. Stairs lead down into what is presumably a cellar.

As Pong begins to descend the stairs, a horrible cacophony of agonized screams and anguishes wails comes from inside the cellar.

Eshe, proud as ever of her reputation as a fearless warrior, tries to hide her shaking, but the tribal trinkets of bones and shells that hang from her hair and the hilt of her axe, give her away. "What was that...?" She manages without stuttering as she swallows past the lump in her throat.

The wails remind Sobek of wind howling through trees. He is concerned of how the sounds have upset Eshe, who is always so fearless. He puts a clawed hand on her shoulder. "Sobek here to help," he says sincerely.
OOC:
Sobek will try to offer Eshe the help action whenever possible to offset her fear disadvantage.
