Sorry, I’m realizing there’s some confusion with the floor naming convention I’m using. Abigail’s apt is on the ground floor. The second and third stories I’m referring to as the first and second floors, respectively. The building’s exterior makes it clear it is 3 stories tall. Unclear at this point where the roof is accessed from. The fire escape runs to the first floor windows and then have drop-ladders down to the ground, so no, Cave, there’s no fire escape leading down from the windows in abigail’s apt.

"You spoke to all the tenants Kirby? Got a list of their names? Anything of note?" King would've wanted to take a break from the cataloguing to speak to the residents, but it seemed that Kirby already had it covered.

"Only a few," he pulls out his note book and golf pencil. " The one over here." He points in the direction without looking up. "Must have tried to get to know her know her... She used an alias 'Laura'. As for the Neighbor across the way. Didn't really talk to her. It seems the Turnaround in a place like this is quite frequent. The part that strikes me as odd is that noone seems to check their mail or newspapers..."

"Theres a few, Named mail boxes and such but I just heard footsteps. Sounded like someone from upstairs but I didn't see them pass by the door here." Kirby looks again thru the looking glass. "The 2 that I spoke with seemed to not know what happend or whats going on."

"You didn't see anyone pass by?" King wondered. "Maybe we should look at the list of tenants you made, tally that against the mailbox labels, and check that with anything we catalogue in here." King was contemplating going back out to the lobby to check the mailbox names, if Kirby hadn't done so already.

Kylie stares at the ticket she found, wondering who the person was, and why it was important. She tags it, notes it in her growing catalog, and moves on. Goosebumps rise on her skin at the mention of not checking the mail. "No one checks their mail? Do you think that the weirdness could be due to the building, or the building just has attracted weird people?"
