Nothing new, eh? How's everyone doing? What do your Agents wanna do? Would it be helpful to have a quick recap of whats happened so far, clues, etc?

The last thing King said he was going to do after checking on the apartments was to return to the room to resume his search. So presumably what's next for him is another hour of search (and the corresponding die roll).

Kylie will simply acknowledge the other two agents as they reenter, rub the back of her neck to get rid of the heebie jeebies, and continue her research.

"We managed to speak with Louis Post, but can't find Michelle Vanfitz. And Kirby here already spoke with Roger Carun. Louis started acting weirdly when we asked him about the script for the play. He says he read it, then passed it to Roger." King reported to Karl and Kylie.

Kylie looks at the ceiling. "Did any of you get the sense that someone was watching you, like, really close?"
Sep 16, 2019 1:28 pm
"When speaking to Louis, we had the sense that he was looking at something or someone, but there was no one in the direction of whatever he was looking at." King pondered. "I think we can safely conclude there's something else going on in this building. It's just we can't see it or detect it yet."

Karl looks over at Kylie, eyes narrowed slightly. "You too? Son of a... I thought it was just me," he says. It's not clear whether he's relieved, irritated or afraid. Turning to King, he says, "Maybe we can't... but I swear that something can see us..."

"It's all good. If we die here it appears that there may be life after death, so how bad can it be?" She shakes her hair and rubs her neck again, having only creeped herself out more despite the attempt at levity.

"It's too late tonight, but I want to run background checks on all the tenants tomorrow. Also do some good old-fashioned legwork around the neighbourhood, see whether they've been behaving strangely."

"Think we can finish up and get out before whatever it is shows up" Kirby says in a semi mocking way.
Sep 18, 2019 2:14 am
"Still tons to unglue. It'll take the whole night." King shrugged. "And since Kirby and I ducked out but found no big leads in the first and second floors, nothing's really happening outside either. Although we haven't looked at the third floor..."

OOC:
What do you do? If everyone wants to keep searching for the rest of the night, I'm happy to just resolve it - frankly, you've already pulled most of the clues that are included in Abigail's apartment (though there are still a few more). I could keep coming up with more but I feel like at this point, let's get through this section - unless you all want to go do something else.

I'm a fan of jumping ahead.

Shall we fast forward by declaring that we completed the room search for the night?

The third floor needs investigating. And the tenants too.
Sep 19, 2019 1:37 pm
OOC:
Well, I'm not gonna just declare that per-se. Assuming you commit to staying in the apartment for the rest of the night, there are a few things we'll need to cover before we get to the end, but I'm happy to do it montage style rather than each hour on its own if that's the case.

Sounds good, incident to incident rather than hour to hour.

In that case, I need two SAN checks from everyone.

Also, 78 and Qralloq, you should each have one of the Helplessness boxes checked on your character sheets from previous SAN loss you took. Can't remember if I told you to do that at the time or not.

King refocused on the task at hand, unsettled as he was by all the findings so far.
